I would like to thank the staff in the " Dermatology Outpatients " for their services yesterday in removing a growth on my face. I'm really feeling it this morning after the Anaesthetic has worn off, but you can't odds that, it's just great that we still have a NHS to provide this for EVERYONE.
Husband had his surgery here and the staff were all fantastic. Hospital is very clean and well maintained, lots on offer for visitors and close to loads soni was able to take a walk around while he was in.
The Head and Neck surgical team are amazing - every single one. Dr Rovira and his team are superstars. They left contact numbers in case we needed help out of hours, and have told us we can just drop in to clinic if we need to - and they've seen us. It has been a difficult journey but their support has kept us going
The receptionist on the outpatients ECG department needs some customer service training. I arrived at 10am, no queue, the welcome was ‘what you here for’, when I said for an ECG she held her hand out for my letter and said ‘sit down they will call you’, no pleasantries at all, not even a smile on her face and no eye contact. Some people may feel quite anxious when they are going for an ECG and being made to feel you are putting her out by simply walking into the department is really not a good representation of the hospital. A simple ‘good morning, may I take your letter please, thank you please take a seat, would really make a lot of difference to some people.
Very busy hospital.the coffee shop lacked seating areas which were located a few yards away from the actual shop. The seating was disgusting. And the floor needed sweeping. The standard of cleanliness just within this area was ver disappointing.
I’ve had the pleasure of being treated at Guy’s hospital! Fast and reliable care. And after a long wait my mum was transferred to Guy’s for her fistula surgery after the first one done by Kings Hospital didn’t go well. Guy’s hospital came to the rescue and as usual did an amazing job! Thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at Guy’s for your service.
Guys Hospital belongs to the trust together with St Thomas and Brompton hospitals. Guy's hospital has its own cancer centre in site which is a brand new building. The tower wing in this hospital is one of the tallest hospitals in Europe. I had a tour in this hospital, and it looks immaculately clean and organised. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Recently, I was a participant in clinical research, and my experience here is exceptional.
Great place for all illness, advanced medicine.
8-9hrs waiting, the appointment was at 9am for us, they didn't get seen till 1pm for then a doctor to leave without reason for a whole hour to then finally put under. Then to be released at 4pm to wait another 1+HR for the medicine. We specifically asked for the medicine to be ready. This hospital doesn't care about your time.
Been there with a positive Covid test for confirmation and a certificate to rebook my overseas flight but the GP rejected to looking after me. Travel Insurance and a private GP send us explicit to the Urgent Care Unit but they rejected seeing us… very disappointed, looks like we have to fly with Covid… or loose hundreds of dollars.
