I am extremely satisfied with the way this medical service was provided to me. Bearing in mind my experience of the previous months meeting with uncertain consultants, this time I found a clinic and staff who discreetly and decisively arranged and carried out the operation. Several things should be noted: the coordination of the operational staff, the friendly but courteous tone of communication, the methodical but calm approach to their duties, and the relaxed atmosphere in the clinical wards. I visited today for day surgery and the hospital staff made it a very nice experience. It was very clean and welcoming. Patrick showed me to my room and was very friendly. Abe looked after me and brightened up my day, he’s very easy to talk to and brilliant at his job. Thanks Abe for everything. Dr Elhassan was fantastic, as was Anil.
I underwent a challenging knee surgery and was incredibly grateful to have Alberto Valdivielso as my physical therapist. He was more than just a healthcare provider; he was a constant source of support and encouragement. Thanks to his belief in me, I've been able to overcome significant obstacles and return to my passion and carrier of dancing. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
It was very much reassuring to be a patient in this hospital and I love the care they have provided to me all throughout my surgery. The nurses are all very kind and nice, thanks to Ola and Hanna, who looked after me. Thanks to all my Doctors who took care of me. This hospital is excellent and one of the best places to be with their outstanding care and it all met my expectations.
My procedure went well and very well looked after. The nurse team, Chiara, Priya and Hanna looked after me very well, many thanks to them again! My consultant Mr Oak gave me the best options for my surgery and made me feel safe, and now during my recovering time feeling well, many thanks to him. I must say he is a true gentleman very polite and humble person
I had an operation as an outpatient - everyone I met and interacted with nurses, caterers, theatre staff, porters, consultant etc. were very friendly and comforting. When I told the anaesthetist I was scared of needles, he immediately offered me an oxygen mask, no questions asked or pressure to deal with the needle. The hospital facilities are clean, comfortable and great condition. My nurses Nilima and Abe were both wonderful, particularly Abe who could see how anxious I was and did a great job of comforting me and advocating for my needs.

I arrived at 7am as I was advised. I was shown to my room 16 on 3rd floor and was given very little information about my planned procedure. In the space of 3 hours i was visited twice by nursing staff who did not have answers to what was going to happen, or even how to operate the lockable drawer of the bedside cabinet. An electric socket was hanging off the wall see picture, the TV remote did not switch on the TV, and the toilet lid was loose. The only working light was the bright ceiling one, the smaller bedside light did not work. I tried both on the light unit itself and by the button on the remote unit. After my procedure I was regularly checked on with BP checked and pain relief. The after care was disjointed with a lack of answers and little discharge information. The nurse who gave me discharge information prior to leaving thought i’d had a different procedure gave me different information ! It was apparent that staff were not checking medical notes. I felt overall this experience of private care could have been better. Staff were not knowledgeable. The room also has issues to be fixed. I expected better.
Right from the minute I arrived to the moment I left the hospital, I was 100% happy with the amazing treatment and care I received. The staff were all so kind and helpful, offering support and advice at every step of the way. The food was incredible - hot, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented - and my room was clean and comfortable. My lovely surgeon and the nursing and physio staff all made my experience as informative and comfortable as possible. I could not find fault with anything. Thank you so much to all the staff involved.
I recently had an experience at London Independent Hospital that left me thoroughly disappointed. We traveled a significant distance to be here, unfamiliar with the area, only to find that the service we received was far from what one would expect, especially considering the exorbitant prices they charge. One glaring issue was the lack of consideration for those accompanying patients. Despite being there to support a loved one through a stressful procedure, I was shocked to learn that the hospital only provides food for the patient. I requested a simple sandwich, only to be met with a flat refusal, as if offering a small meal to a person caring for someone post-operation would somehow break their budget. This policy is not only insensitive but also impractical, especially for those who have traveled from afar and are unfamiliar with the surroundings. The refusal forced me to leave the hospital to search for food, adding unnecessary stress and hassle at a time when the focus should have been on the patient and the upcoming surgery. Considering the high fees charged by this hospital, it’s astonishing that they wouldn’t accommodate such a basic request. A small gesture like offering food to those supporting patients could make a huge difference in the overall experience. Instead, I was left feeling uncared for and frustrated, wondering why such a simple request was too much to ask. Overall, the service at London Independent Hospital fell short of expectations, and the lack of consideration for those accompanying patients is something they desperately need to address. For the high price you pay, the least they could do is show a bit more compassion and understanding.
