This place makes for a nice, relaxing weekend type of getaway. It's an old royal property that sits on a lot of land. So a nice treat for the historical sentiment. The reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is due to the lack of options in restaurants and major power lines running visibly near the property. The latter kind of ruins the nature feel. The service was excellent except for one of the concierge who didn't execute and put us in a bind for our restaurant reservation.
Firstly the hotel, facilities spa in particular and surroundings are just stunning. The level of service is top notch with all the staff being attentive and extremely friendly. The rooms are super spacious, and well designed with super comfortable beds. The bathrooms are gorgeous too. The entire hotel is what you'd expect from a luxury brand.
Attended a wedding here this weekend, wow what a fantastic venue it is. Set in the roaming Hampshire countryside. The hotel was absolutely astounding and so quiet too , the rooms were very spacious and well equipped with everything you might need or you have forgotten , the service was second to none and nothing was too much trouble to any staff member you asked and every member spoke to you as you passed them , a very special place and further mention to a manager there whose name was Josh. His attention to detail was impeccable he went above and beyond to make ours and the rest of the guests who attended the wedding a day to remember , he is a credit to your establishment. Many thanks to all the staff as well you made me and my family so welcome i thank you all kindest and fondest regards the Williams Family
The good. Great place for families because of all the activities. The rooms are comfortable and updated. The bad F&B choices are limited to one restaurant especially during the weekend when the second and only other on property restaurant is closed. Also the equestrian center has a limited menu.
One of my best trips in couple years. Enjoyed everything in the resort, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food at wild carrot was amazing with a great hospitality from Alex. Thanks for making this trip so special.
Excellent. My family had a wonderful time as usual. the entertainment for kids is unmatched for a hotel, and the staff were exceptional. My only gripe is that the menu at Wild Carrot for vegans is distinctly limited.
Always a superb stay here. Great for families! I wanted to add a special mention for Alexander Craggs who works in the restaurant. Twice he has provided us with the best of service, so attentive and friendly. Four Seasons Hampshire, look after him, he is a diamond!!Rooms: 5/5
The Four Seasons Hotel is a beautiful historical building, very welcoming and friendly staff at the front door. We had a wonderful afternoon tea at the Library the sandwiches and cakes was out of this world. Rebecca, Jessica and Dario gets bonus points for their excellent service. We hope to came back sometime next year.Service: 5/5
Had a lovely stay with my son, husband and French Bulldog. Great service. We loved the pool and spa and really enjoyed our walks around the grounds.
Awful customer service for what is meant to be a five star hotel. My partner booked a weekend for my birthday with our baby and our dog, Milo. We chose the hotel as we know it’s a country hotel and ‘dog friendly’. Despite ringing the hotel on booking 2 months ago! to check they would accept our dog in the suite, they rang us less than a week before our booking to say they only accept dogs under 30 kilos and therefore couldn’t accept our booking. This should have been advised to us when we phoned to book, or they should have checked well before check in, not less than a week out! We’ve now had my birthday weekend ruined as it’s too late too make alternate arrangements. Poor experience all round, and we won’t be returning to this or any other Four Seasons property.
