We stayed with a large group for a walking holiday and had a wonderful time. The hotel is in quite an isolated scenic position which is great for a peaceful break but does of course mean you have to get your car out if you want to go anywhere. The room my husband and I stayed in was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. Our dinners were delicious and beautifully presented, although my husband and I are vegetarian and we felt there could have been more than one vegetarian choice for dinner each night. Also, some people felt there should have been a few more vegetables served with the meals. The breakfast was very varied with an amazing amount of choice for hot and cold meals. The staff were generally very helpful but some could have been a bit more cheerful! The nice warm swimming pool was a treat.
We had the best time staying here, room was lovely and the spa made our stay even better. The spa receptionist was so friendly to us and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back again!!
Very well situated, room is clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Gym is neat and pleasant could use another elliptical machine for the busier times, beverages are a bit pricey and food was very bland but adequate. Overall, a nice stay!
Lovely hotel with nice surroundings. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Nice sized gym and swimming pool. Everyone friendly. Went for a Christmas party which was a bit chaotic as they got the table layout all wrong and no manager in sight to take charge of the situation, which delayed food coming out for everyone that attended and didn't start the night off well. But would stay again for a break away. Very remote so you will need to drive everywhere.
We’ve decided to spend put New Year’s Eve with some quality dad and son time and Norton Park Hotel seemed the perfect place as not too far, easy to get to, spa facilities, free parking and Tesla Supercharger available in their car park. Upon arrival warmed welcomed by the night manager from Glasgow who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly, guiding us to our first visit, equally good service at the check out and a joyful and buzzing lady who appeared wishing happy new year to all, presumably a member of the management!nBeing the 01.01.25 they had extended their check out from 11am to 1pm which was a pleasant surprise 1pm of the 01.01! Swimming water slightly to the cold side to my own preference, steam room clean and a good balance of salt vs temperature, sauna also decently clean. The spa reception provided good service and £3 flip flops available inc a bag, changing rooms tidy, overall a positive experience including the free breakfast on the morning with great selection of continental and a selected balanced English breakfast hot items topping with smiley faces all around form the waitressing team.nWe would consider return, what stopped us to give a 5 star rating was due to not having jacuzzi as this was a deal breaker for us, specially when we called we were informed it had to then find out nonexistent, albeit that’s our preference
