I was here with my wife for a 4 day break and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A special mention should be given to the staff who were all pleasant friendly and extremely helpful. Our chalet was classified as a basic one however it was superior to a lot of hotel rooms that we've stayed in. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy. The quality of the food was excellent and well presented with the serving staff being very professional but relaxed and friendly. There are numerous activities that residents can take part in with the staff once again being relaxed, helpful and fun. We would go again.
The lodge we stayed in was great. Clearly recently renovated and decorated. Nice and warm and clean. Could park right outside. Perfect! Food was fairly average and all meals were a buffet style and not what I would expect for the money. Had gammon one evening and it was so dry it was inedible and completely tasteless. The service from some of the people who were supposed to be taking drinks orders was pretty poor. They were busy chatting to the bar staff rather than checking if customers wanted a drink. In dire need of supervision. The woman who was on the check out desk was miserable as sin. I have fed this back to Warners. Entertainment was great although where we were sitting was a rubbish location for seeing the stage. All the good seats had been reserved despite us getting there early and having one of the most expensive accommodation on site.
We went for the basic option The linnet and it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom needs attention but it's clean and the shower is powerful. The grounds are well kept and there's plenty of parking. We stayed at sinah Warren in August and had a royal room which is far superior to this however we are on a 2 night stay so not to fussed. There is nicer accommodation but it's more expensive. Food is good. Loads of activities and we love the snooker darts and table tennis. Pool is good. We wouldn't return to lakeside and the dining experience is very busy. Overall a good experience...... Friendly staff
Food very good. Buffet and menu. Chalets are warm, clean and modern. Broadband, television, fridge and very modern shower were all great. Heating very effective in chalets. Activities include archery, shooting, bowls - also two full size snooker tables. Swimming pool and gym are very good. Location is walking distance from sea front. We recommend Lakeside and have been here a number of times before.
Nice place. Our room was large with a separate bedroom and living room. Very comfortable and clean. Restaurant service was a little slow at times due to staff shortages. But all the staff were very good. Don't think we would go here again. I prefer being in a hotel rather than the chalet type rooms.
First visit to a Warners, unsure before going whether it would be right for us. Quickly discovered that despite gales and torrential rain outside it was great fun and hugely enjoyable. Staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and plentiful, and activities and entertainment were all very enjoyable. We definitely will be going again. Rooms: Standard chalet was fairly basic but comfortable, some were more recently updated to a higher standard. Food & drinks: Great food and plenty of it.
Our chalet in Flamingo block was a bit tired and we had to ask for another fire as rads won't very hot! but bed and over all, room was comfortable. Maid serviced our room every day, nice. the meals very nice. Loved the singer in the resident band. " Central Park" Rooms: 3/5
I was taken here by my son and daughter in law for a birthday treat it was great The room was lovely. We also had great fun doing the activities and using the swimming pool. Food was great as we're the options Staff were fantastic they were helpful and friendly . The entertainment team was brilliant. Will definitely be returning to here and will also be trying out other warner sites and hotels Walkability: There was a beautiful lake here but I never got to walk around the surrounding area fully looking forward to returning to do so.
I will admit I thought it might be a bit boring as it centres around an older crowd but it was a lot of fun and remarkably relaxing, all the staff are pleasant and chipper, the rooms are great very warm and cozy. The entertainment staff though were absolutely top notch from the multiple daily quizes to the in house singers and I must say the skills of the singers is both diverse and high quality I don't know if they've been told but they are pretty amazing. Did have a little slip up with a last minute band hired to fill in as the house band was sick and to be honest they need a bit of work. But I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you for a great time guys.
Here for 4 night dance break, that is very good, very good instructors, lots of fun and laughs, as well as plenty of ballroom/ Latin and sequence dances. Our room was warm, but lacked any seating, bathroom is a bit tired, restraunt is buffet serve yourself, however, good choice of food. Drinks are on the expensive side you are on holiday The public areas are very nice modern and well decorated, overall an enjoyable break, it is what it is.
