I really do enjoy my visits to this Cineworld and I have visited since I was very young. It is a great place to visit for a day out in Runcorn and has plenty of new show on every month. They also have midnight screening for brand new movies. The staff and always friends and willing to help if any assistance is needed. They will also answer and questions about the movies beforehand. The unlimited Cineworld membership card is reasonably priced at this cinema and if you travel here often I would highly recommend as it could save you so money. The card also provides a discount on food and drink but it is not a lot. There is also a pick & mix section on site so you can choose your favourite sweets and the amount you want for the movie. Or they have bags of sweets located near the checkout. I would highly recommend a visit to this Cineworld. My only problem is the food and drink are quite expensive for what you get and this can add up to a large bill quickly. 31/10/2022 update - the staff absolutely go above and beyond. They really try toake an effort for there visitors. For Halloween they were even giving out small goodie bags! Lovely staff always willing to talk and help!
Really nice cinema. Only complaint was that the springs in the fold-up seats were too strong for my 8yeat old Grandson
My fiancé and I went to watch NOPE and found ourselves on our own in the cinema. It was like a Private screening just for us. The cinema itself was spotless, the staff were helpful and pleasant. The film was awful! I think we'll settle for a DVD and some hotdogs and popcorn at home, at least it will be cheaper. I can't believe it was just shy of £40 for the two of us!!! Definitely won't be going to the cinema any time soon. They need to drop their prices, maybe people would go if they did! Sad to say it was a very disappointing evening!
Seats are a bit cramped, but still a good cinema, plenty of snacks available. Added bonus is there's a few fast food places within walking distance.
Been visiting Runcorn Cineworld almost every week since i was about 9 or 10 and its a great cinema that sadly has recently been hugely neglected by head office. Since Covid they haven't even been using 3 of the 9 screens for some reason meaning that the choice of films and showtimes has been very poor. There have been tons of special screenings recently that have been shown at pretty much every Cineworld except for Runcorn. The till systems are also badly in need of an upgrade, you'll either be waiting 5 mins to wait for it to finish crashing or it wont be working at all and they'll be working from pen and paper only. Despite Cineworld themselves not caring, it is still a great place to watch a film, managed as well as possible by the on-site staff. Picture and audio quality is way better than the nearby Reel in widnes except for the dead pixel on screen 6, seats are comfy and it's never particularly busy.
Ideally located, cheap small and cosy on a Sunday afternoon

Visited to watch a film, Had it to ourselves. It was a good experience but was rather cold. There's a sense of neglect and a loss for money since it reopened. The arcade is closed. There's more staff than customers but they are very friendly. There is not many food options inside the food court itself than their used to be. I compare to it's current and pre covid and my nostalgic past experiences there. It would be harsh of me to give a low rating as it's is expected of any cinema these days to be recovering. I give 4star and hope it returns to its former glory someday.
Pixels missing on screen, don't see how as its a projector must be damaged screen. Random person walking around at end of movie in front of screen, ruined the end of easily best movie for a long time. Well done cineworld
