What a fabulous theatre. We booked tickets to see Kinky Boots here and we were not disappointed.nThe auditorium feels really intimate and immersive, the seats are comfortable for the duration of the show. Volunteers are amazing so helpful and friendly.nThere's a really nice bar/ seating area here to have pre shop drinks at reasonable prices as wellnThe show was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed it a fantastic talented group of artists who can sing, act, play musical instruments and dancenOur first time here but we will definitely be booking more shows here

I photographed a wedding at Storyhouse back in April and WOW! What a place. The staff were incredible at making Becky & John's wedding day extra special. The couple had quite an alternative day, featuring a humanist ceremony in the theatre space, stormtroopers, and a Mario Kart tournament on the big screen. They then had the party in the same room in with a live band in the evening. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend this place for a non-traditional wedding celebration. The building is also an amazing community space, with theatre, library, cinema, cafe and more.... and I can't wait to come back.nnI also enjoyed a coffee and cake in the cafe - the vegan options were fantastic. Staff and volunteers here are very friendly. Outdoor seating is a nice touch. I love how they give away the film posters for free after they are finished with them.nnWent to see Rhod Gilbert tonight, first time at this theatre and it was a great experience. Lovely atmosphere and theatre was clean and well maintained. Can’t wait for our next visit

First time at the theatre to watch Kinky Boots. Loved the show and was surprised at the ending, which was great fun. Fabulous place, giving people the chance to experience theatre as an actor through its charitable work. Amazed by all the books around  whilst you enjoy a meal and drink.
