The cinema is a little dated however they show all the latest movies and often have show times later than other cinemas. We went to see the movie about J P Getty and were the only ones there at 22:15. The layout is a little strange in that you buy tickets near the entrance, then drinks and snacks are at another section and the pick and mix is located behind the section that you show you tickets. This means your potentially queueing three times. The best thing about this cinema is the reclining seats, they're really comfortable to sit in.

Loved it. Watched Black Panther here - in extra leg room seats, some popcorn and a soda. Reminiscent of a bygone era! Lovely: worth the 16 mile journey from Burtonwood to Knowsley.

This place is an absolute dump. It looks okay from the outside and once was many years ago. A young inexperienced/underpaid and downtrodden staff couldn't give a fig about this place. The place is dirty - seats old and worn - food all over seats/floors and sometimes wet sticky patches on floor. The place needs a decent manager who can take control - respect staff - and . . . Just keep the place clean! Screens are okay - movies are watchable but the surroundings overshadow the film goers experience to be honest.
