A big cinema with lots of screens on offer.nStaff are friendly and helpful and there’s the usual over priced sweets and drinks available.nWe watched the new Captain America film in the iMax screens upstairs and bought the VIP seats, which were ok.nYou have to slide forward in your seat and lean back to be able to see the whole screen as it’s too big for the natural seating position. As you’re not sitting naturally, it hurts your lower back and spoils the experience.nThe VIP seats would be comfortable but don’t recline, which would have fixed the poor viewing position and discomfort whilst watching the film.nThe sound quality however is excellent, but the picture lost the HD quality a few times throughout the film, and seemed slightly out of focus.
Can only speak about 2D experiences as I never go to IMAX, but always have a good experience when I go here with my family. Comfy seats, good sound and screen quality.
What a lovely evening my daughter and I had on Wednesday this week! We didn’t book which was a mistake on our part because they were very busy but staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Jack W on the counter was so polite and so helpful finding us last minute tickets for the Bridget Jones film. There weren’t two seats available together until 9pm and it was only 6.15 at the time. Then he found two seats at 7.10 which were only two seats apart from one another. We thought the two people sitting between us might be willing to swap. He then referred us to Sam female at the screen entrance, who looked after us until we went in to watch the film. She got me a chair to sit on in the queue as I’m disabled and can’t stand for long periods. Sam saw our ticket numbers and when the two people sitting between us arrived, she asked them very politely if they would mind swapping with us. They were happy to swap and we enjoyed comfortable seats next to one another and a great movie. It’s five years since I last went to the cinema but thanks to Jack and Sam I won’t leave it as long next time! Thank you both so very much.
I took two of my children to the cinema today. My son who is autistic wasn’t doing so well so we decided to leave as to not disturb others. I spoke to a young lady on the desk about my situation and if I could change my ticket for a later viewing with just my daughter.nShe was absolutely lovely so understanding and sorted it out for me. Lovely young lady and so helpful. Thank you very much wish I could’ve got her name!
For comfort, you gotta give it to VUE for sure. I reached a bit early before my movie start. Well who doesn’t like those recliner chairs, oh dear I almost fell into sleep but I managed to hold myself till then.nOne more thing was interesting which is no movie trailers before the movie starts. Although I actually like watching trailers. Never mind. Anyway I enjoyed watching here.nI bet you will too.
