Victory Services Club established in 1907 is a tri-service, all ranks military Members’ Club.

Story

Victory Services Club was established in 1907 and is a tri-service, all ranks Members’ Club for currently serving and retired members of the Armed Forces and their families.

The Club has two charitable objectives: to provide a place for serving and ex-serving personnel to meet; and to support serving or ex-serving personnel who face hardship or distress, including those wounded as a result of operational service. We are very proud of the Respite & Welfare Breaks that contribute to the second charitable objective.

The Club offers a truly unique Club atmosphere offering excellent service and value for money, impressive accommodation, varied dining options and events.

Sir Winston Churchill, said,
“ The Victory Club for ex-servicemen given by the nation as a memorial to fallen comrades and as a tribute to those who returned, stands guardian of the common treasures and memories of friendship and brave deeds”.

This is the place to go if you want to be in Central London and stay for a few days at the most reasonable costs, in modern, smart, super clean accommodation. The Bar and Restaurant facilities are superb and a hearty breakfast is to die for. We stayed for 5 days over the Christmas period and invited friends to join us who stayed for 3 days. The VSC was our third visit in less than 12 months, and we love it there. Finally, our Christmas Day Dinner with professional singers performing was simply brilliant; the staff are all very pleasant and always there to help you have a great experience, whether it be the cleaners, room service, bar staff, waiting staff, etc so much so in fact, we have already decided to stay next Christmas!
It’s a great establishment just behind Marble Arch, in London. You need to become a member but it’s open to all men and women who have served or are serving, and their families. The prices for the rooms are very good and the rooms are refurbished and clean. Note - some rooms do not have bathrooms so you have access to these on the corridors. I didn’t find that to hard an inconvenience. I would hole heartily recommend this club, to stay here - their rooms, their bar and breakfast room, are excellent value for money and very nice.
Can't wait to come back. The staff make everything appear effortless and that takes some skill in running a place like this. Strikes a very happy medium between casual and formal. Food is superb and I'd like to heap accolades on the chef. Special mention to the cheerful and welcoming team on reception: Daniel, LaToya and Jamie.
Open to former members of the armed forces and their family, the clientele here are always very approachable. The bar area is comfortable with sophisticated seating. The quality of the food at the restaurant varies a lot. Some years it has been very good, others have been less so. The food is very affordable for the area so if you are able to dine in, I would recommend
Stunning building in a perfect spot to explore this wonderful city. The staff were incredibly attentive. Prices reasonable. The food!?! Wow. Amazing. Really relaxing place with a brilliant atmosphere. Highly recommend. Private dining area was perfect and the staff really really looked after us all. Cannot fault it
Fantastic stay. Lovely food in the restaurant, and good staff. Always welcoming, helpful and smiling. Room was great double with ensuite and was clean thoroughly. Will be back to stay with family next time I'm in London.
Members' club. Comfortable, well-placed for Marble Arch and central London, relaxed and with excellent food. We have never been disappointed and today's mini Christmas cake and mince pie were no exception. The prices are excellent.
Military club that provides a place to stay & have meals. They also provides rooms for conferences & weddings. Must be a member or guest of a member of the club. First time was in May 2017 & enjoyed it. This is my second time. Living in the USA only allows me to visit once every 3 to 4 years. Annual membership due are worth it even if I don't get to use the club but once every 3 or so years.
Pros - Cheap rooms in a good quality hotel for central London. - Great location - Great refurb of the downstairs bar and restaurant Cons - Check out is at 10:30AM I know of no other hotel in the world that has that early a check out - Rooms no king sized beds just doubles and a wee bit dated Summary - A great budget hotel to stay in a great central London location, but very early checkout and dated rooms with small beds.
Wonderful and excellent place to revive our old memories and experience. Lovely food with nice staff to serve.
