Less than 5 minutes from King's Cross station, both receptionists I spoke with were friendly and helpful I was able to leave my suitcase at the hotel many hours before I checked it. The toilet and shower were very close to my room. The hotel was quiet and peaceful Wifi worked great too. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Nearby activities: You can literally see Kings cross station from your window.
I have stayed here twice. The staff are very good. The rooms are dated, at times a little noisy and although not unacceptably dirty could be a little bit cleaner in places. However, they are secure, equipped with all the essentials, and you will not find better value for money in London. I will be back!
Very small and hot rooms. Location is good next to train station. Only problem is having to carry suitcase up narrow stairs to top floor.Rooms: 3/5
Have stayed here more than once and find it great value for money. The accommodation is quite tired but each time I have stayed it has been super clean, which to me is the most important thing! My last stay I paid £39 for a single room, which for the location is amazing!Rooms: 3/5
I stayed there in April 2024. I paid 170gbp for 4 nights in a single room which was a very good deal compared to other hotels, it was even cheaper than some dormitories or pods. My ratings are relative to the price I paid. The building is old, and the facilities are not very practical. Other than that, it was clean and everything was functional. The doors have a big gap on the bottom so it's not soundproof at all, but the hotel was very quiet, so this didn't pose any problem. There was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, which was a nice touch. There was also a TV. I only used the room to sleep and didn't spend much time in it, so it was perfect for me. The location is very good as it's only a 3-min walk to the metro or train station. The ladies at the reception were friendly and smiling.
Awful scruffy tiny room . We stayed in July 24. There is major building work right outside the front of the hotel. Horrible noise and dust . Should not be let out . The location is perfect for the station but no excuse for still letting the front rooms surely? We were in the basement and when the construction stopped the washing machine’s started and the smell of washing powder was overwhelming! This is my first ever bad review. I am not a moaner ! Walkability: Good location
A very simple ,but perfect located hotel, directly opposite Kings Cross train station. The rooms are not too small, got a television,a comfy bed,a little bathroom en suite with hot water,a kettle, cups, tea and coffe is provided. The room is perfectly clean. The staff is very friendlz, even you arrive in the middle og the night.A very good price /value. A clear recommendation.
I stayed for one night after the airport . Very convenient location. The room had everything I needed. No hot water for shower but I did not book in advance for heating to turned on. This is a prime location and the price I paid was Fair. Nothing to complain I'm glad I found that hotel at that time I arrived. Rooms: Room has everything you need including coffee and tea. There are 2 single beds a separate room for toilet and separate shower.
Great location across from King's Cross station. The rooms are very small and the bathroom was literally a repurposed closet. Overall decent experience with the staff and for the fare it's decent value for money.Rooms: 3/5
Very well located hotel. 24 hour reception and helpful staff. Most of the complaints are about room sizes and lots of stairs. That's true, but they tell you that beforehand. I was comfy and the price is very reasonable. Rooms: Clean and comfy Walkability: Very close the king's cross and the tube network
