No frills, humble, clean, and just what I was looking for as a solo female traveller! It was an amazing value, and the location couldn't have been better. I stayed in the single room with en suite bathroom. It had everything I needed, including a window! Yes, if you're not careful booking budget stays, you may be put in a sordid basement or musty interior room. I hope this place retains its integrity because I'd definitely stay again in the future!
These people gave us a lovely welcome, the family room was perfect and spotless. All facilities up to scratch and a winner in proximity to King's Cross. Thank-you Hotel Meridiana for all you did for us,we had a comfortable stay. Nearby activities: Wonderful splashy water fountains and open air cinema up by the canal. Great for childrenand big kids take a change of clothes. Walkability: Close to the station and a flat route.
A small typically London hotel, close to the Eurostar train station. Small room but very well and new finishes, good lighting, nice en-suite bathroom except for tiny tiny basin and treacherously slippery floor in the very new shower. Coffee and tea, television, and ample closet space for a small room. Hauling heavy suitcases up two flights on a steep stairwell was the biggest drawback for a woman in her 70’s. Walkability: Lots of pubs, coffee shops, and Bloomsbury and the British Museum nearby.
It's a shame the website implies breakfast is available..when the service has nt been resumed since lockdown..yet the price remains unchained. The rest was good, clean , quiet and convenient Nearby activities: Hospital visit. Convenient walking distance
Check in was quick and painless with no issues and a free upgrade to a private bathroom instead of shared. Room was clean and had extra pillows in the wardrobe. The sockets had charger ports which only 1 worked as the other one was bent out of shape but it was a functional room. Location is just about 6 minute walk from King's Cross Station which is perfect for getting around London as trains and underground's are your best friend. Good for a cheap stay and a place to rest your head
Great value stay. Staff are polite and welcoming. Rooms are clean and have everything you need including tea and coffee making facilities, desk with a chair, sink and TV. Toilet and bathroom are shared but at this price point they were more than adequate. Stairs are a little narrow and steep so take this into consideration if this could be an issue for you. Will happily stay again. Location great for Kings cross and Euston. Safety: Secure and safe.
More a hostel than hotel of 2 stars only good thing about it is its location. overpriced 160 pounds for 2 nights . they are doing works making noise while customer are staying which is unacceptable. Rooms are cold and humide since heating is only for few hours in this cold weather. Not practical at all to have bathroom shared one for 7 rooms which was unclear while i booked it. Shower takes lots of time to warm up 15 min . Bed is small as well. I would not recommend it i was very disappointed
Perfect little room for 2 people. Bathroom was nice enough and the bed was comfy. Was able to store our luggage as well for when we couldn't check in yet and when we checked out. No lift so you will have to carry luggage up a narrow staircase.Rooms: 4/5
An absolutely lovely stay at this hotel. Very budget friendly, simple clean rooms, and lovely service. Location is perfect right next to major train stations and subway lines. Beds are comfy, rooms are nice and toasty on the night time, and despite the central location it was quiet at night! So no disturbances. We stayed in a basic twin room, so no bathroom, but the toilet and shower facilities were conveniently located right outside the door. Our only downside is the three flights of stairs, but you get used to them!
I really liked the facilities given by the stay. the cute little room is just as I expected. the bathroom has enough space. there is nice storage facility. room was really clean and in my two nights stay, the room was cleaned overnight. Only issue I had was that I could here noise in the outside, but it's very calm in the night so you are guaranteed of a peaceful sleep. Very convenient for public transport. Nice restaurants around for dine-in
