When you purchase from Bath Store they are very nice to you in store right up to the point where they have your money and fail to deliver their customer guarantee! It started with their surveyor who was rude and unprofessional. In between answering half a dozen calls while in my home he informed me of what couldn’t be done with my bathroom refit in order to make the job easier for himself. He then went on to quote twice as much as the other quotes I had received! Then the delivery, there were items missing, an out of stock item and the tiles didn’t show up on the same day! This is after being told by the store everything would be delivered and at the same time... When I called the store they didn’t answer and nobody got back to me. I then visited the store the following day to find it closed, due to staff shortages. The problem is with the Bath store is there is no customer service department at Head office all problems are dealt with by the store you have purchased from (LUTON) but when their closed what do you do? After phoning around local stores I was informed they were unable to access my order. Eventually I called the ordering telephone number. They answer the phone (funny that) and a helpful lady emailed an area manager! Eventually I was contacted and my tiles arrived a week later and the missing item was sent to the store for collection and the radiator arrived a month later. Now after spending £5300 with the Bath store, we discovered that the lady who placed the order had forgot to add a lid for the toilet cabinet. To add insult to injury on returning to the store to purchase the missing item I have been charged £20 delivery for their mistake! I asked for the item to be sent to store I will collect but apparently they don’t do that anymore.. Truly terrible service can not recommend save yourself the hassle shop elsewhere.
