Huge store with plenty of parking lots, helpful and friendly staff. They have a great selection of clothes, shoes, accessories and home wares. I feel some of the items were over priced otherwise it’s a good deal to shop here.
Beautifully laid out and labelled clearly so finding what you’re looking for is very easy.nnYou can pretty much buy some quality items from Matalan. There is a wide selection of clothing and household goods to choose from. The discount range is worth looking through and you can grab yourself a nice bargain. We managed to bag some very nice knitwear.nnKerry’s customer service was outstanding. She went out of her way to help us. Kerry was very helpful and is a great asset to Matalan.nnWell worth a visit.nnPlenty of free parking is available.
I normally like shopping and browsing here as staff are usually helpful and there are great offers, but when I heard a colleague coming onto tills complaining about being busy themselves, I felt bad for the person who was already on tills who was manning the till herself when it got busy and this left a bitter feeling. Kindness costs nothing! She shouted at her own team member! Would’ve been 5 stars if the colleague didn’t complain about serving customers…
Decent enough store particularly for home ware, and the new self check out tills have reduced the time to pay, just hope you're never caught in a fire here as the signed emergency exit is blocked by clothes rails and trolleys. And it's locked.
Very poor customer service today. I chose a suitcase priced at £75 but with a 20% off label stapled to the info attached to the case. This did not show up at the till and when the supervisor was called she said very brusquely that the discount label shouldn’t be on it l. I asked if she wasn’t obliged to honour it and she said “No I can’t do that” and ripped the label off. Trustpilot review will be posted tomorrow.
