Decent hostel. Obviously has all the facilities needed for large groups and a good location to be able to get to walking routes by car. Local shops are not far at all and there was comfortable lounging areas. Plenty of parking on site as well which is a real plus for families and those travelling in large groups.

We've always loved this hostel but felt very let down on our last visit. It feels as though it's all about volume of guests and bit the quality of stay. Disappointing: I hope they do better next year

We had exclusive hire of the courtyard. Plenty of rooms, warm and comfortable. The kitchen made an excellent place for a 70s party.

Wonderful accommodation with friendly staff. Amazing grounds that were free to use at our leisure.
