Excellent campsite. Stayed over New Year for 4 nights. Large pitches, spotlessly clean toilets and showers, we didn't want to leave. Will definitely stay agsin.
Stayed here October half term holiday. Lovely peaceful, relaxed and unregimented site. Spotlessly clean shower block. Would be perfect with a few trees in the middle mound part. This would act as a sound barrier and also enhance the landscape. Good value cheaper than nearby Skelwith Fold and with the added bonus of free WiFi. Will definitely return.
Nice camp site. Good clean shower and toilet block. Fairly busy with kids on their bikes and a lot of people not keeping their dogs on leads as per site rules. Nice to have the pathway off road into the village.

Managed to get a last-minute overnight stay and had absolutely no complaints. Pitches were good, toilet block was clean, and showers were hot. Great views of Latterbarrow and the surrounding fells.

Excellent campsite. Fantastic facilities, well maintained, spotlessly clean. Nice, peaceful relaxed site with good views. Numbers restricted, so plenty space available. The very pretty village of Hawkshead is a short walk away along a footpath, We were very pleased to spend a week here and will be back.Service: 5/5
