Came here for a quiet weekend. Could be a good site if rules were enforced. Says no campfires. They were campfires on both nights. Says no noise or BBQs after 10.30. And no groups of more than 3 of the same sex. There were people sat around campfires talking loud. Well after midnight. Dogs running wild with owners having no control over them. People turning up at all hours in the night pitching tents. Came away will all my gear stinking of smoke from the fires. Won't be returning again.

A good location for exploring the Lakes. The owner was friendly and helpful, the facilities were basic but clean. Pitch options were plentiful although some were a long way from the toilets. The ground was fairly flat though a little waterlogged in places, even though it was the (British) summer.

Love coming to this place, they have had their problems with water logged fields, and people churning them up with their cars, so they are trying a few different things to try and remedy this. They seem to listen to people and try to help. Excellent facilities, and great prices!
