Stayed here in March 2018 and had a great time. Lovely little site right next to Hawkshead. Peaceful location, great facilities and fantastic access to the Lake District.

Amazing location with very clean facilities. We had an amazing weekend at the Hawkshead Christmas fair. However the site was let down by the siting of the service points on the pitches. We payed for a fully serviced hard standing pitch but could not use the service point and grey waist due to them being over 12m from the pitch (on the wrong side for our van so a good 14 or so meters from our connection point). I realise it's hard to accommodate all shapes and sizes of caravan however I think having the hard standing pitches more evenly spaced would help. Having said this it will not put us off staying here again, but hopefully next time we will get a better pitch.

Good camp site. OK facilities. However no mop to clean the showers so gets messy fast.

Booked last minute, arrived within hour and a half of booking. Wasn't disappointed. Really clean and good facilities. Excellent location 5 minute walk from a lovely picturesque village. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
