Absolutely outstanding place to stay.nExtremely quiet at night. Very peaceful location.nEasy pathed cycle into Ambleside.nStaff were superb, especially Steve and his wife.nKids park was enjoyed by our 9yr old son.nShowers and toilets were spotless and even had heated floors.nWe are heading back soon for another enjoyable stay.
Stayed here for a long weekend in our campervan with our 2 dogs. Reception staff were very welcoming on arrival, and eager to discuss local area and offer laminated maps of walks from the site. The site is pristine, as are the shower facilities, heat floors are luxury. There's even a dishwasher available at a small charge. There's a shower area for dogs and bikes, definite bonus for rainy days. Staff always visible in their buggies and super friendly without being instrusive. Would definitely recommend this site and will be coming back. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Motorhome site was beautiful and the shower and facilities are wonderful. Dog and bike wash site, heated floors in the showers and an easy site to use. The cost is very reasonable. The staff are friendly and the shop is well equipped if if does shut a bit early. I would highly recommend this site.
Stayed as a tourer at the top end of the site. A wonderful site, immaculately kept in beautiful surroundings. The staff are friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful. Located not far outside Ambleside, there are walks through beautiful countryside and cycle paths too. The site has all the amenities, including a laundry/dry room, showers and toilets which are clean and plentiful. Not only that, it has a well stocked shop, and if all that wasn't enough, there is a library too.
1st class, clean site all round, showers are brilliant., heated floor !! One night stop over for us but we will be back for sure. Super friendly too. I'm a bit fussy too but I can't complain about anything here tbh!!
