Food was terrible and expensive. £8 for some nachos chips with a bit of melted cheap cheddar over the top with a couple of jalapeno over the top and a bit sour cream. It was advertised as a sharer but was a starter for one if you could stomach it. Literally worst nachos I've ever had served up. Main course came out, fries were overdone and cold. Weatherspoons microwaved meals and generally better. However, the pubs staff were friendly and prior to our meal sat out front enjoying a few drinks in the sun.

The rooms are old fashioned. The dining area is modestly clean. The rooms are noisy overnight as you are on the top of a pub. If you are light sleeper you won’t get any sleep before 12pm... Ok. New level of experience. They just putting back the towels you throw on the floor because they got dirty... So don’t hope for clean towels

Really impressed with this place.staff really nice and friendly.room was spotless and well maintained .looking forward to a return trip with our 2 dogs.thanks to all

Nice clean friendly pub. Good food, dog friendly too. Has sky and BT sports so gets busy if there is football on

100m down the road by the church and you immediately manage to escape the tourist traps. Worth the walk; wasn't that why you came? Good beer but a tied house, so not the best range.
