Have been incorrectly charged, useless dumbell weights, cable mc's are way too far from mirrors, carpets are damaged and fixed by a tape. They are not providing antibacterial liquid and wipes.
great gym for its price but filled with any one who can afford £10 a month if you get what I mean. other than that if you just want to get about your business its good but there are much better gyms for slightly more money.
I have been a member of this gym for over 5/6 years but i have only been going for the past 2 years. This gym has friendly staff and also very helpful. This gym is 14.99 a month so it's relatively cheap. But this place needs renovation. There's holes in the walls from when ppl have ran into them doing sprints. It also needs a lot of new machines and some extremely wobbly and unbalanced. Needs improvement
Great range of equipment and number of equipment. The equipment is kept clean which is a bonus. Staff are friendly and helpful. Price is incredible for what you get, and I like that the cardio and weights area are separated to provide more room for each, as well as give each area it's own "vibe".
Attended this gym for a few months. Once I quit the gym, the staff member on the desk accepted that I was leaving the gym. There was no fixed term contract other than a month-to-month payment basis. They advised that I also cancel any direct debit I have with the gym in case a new payment was to come out within the next few days. I did that. Now, a few months on, I've looked at emails which were in a junk folder... advising that I confirm my cancellation with the gym and pay off my "outstanding balance". Turns out, the gym were still trying to take money from my account each month and they ended up taking that up with a debt collection service, costing me a few months of membership charges and an additional "missed payment charge" X3 and a collection fee. Totalling £156.06 I highly advise against using this gym.
The fact there's a separate women's room is a big help it means females from all different backgrounds religion/culture, women with less confidence can go to the gym with ease and train in a comfier environment for themselves. It was what made me sign up...All the staff are really friendly and approachable. If you need some help or advice there's always someone there to help. Would definitely recommend.
the staff are so helpful, from the reception staff to the trainers. i like the atmosphere of this gym, its really big with so much equipment, and also a female only training room. I love the classes on offer, especially the les mills classes, the trainers are brill! theres so many classes on each day, theres always something to chose. would be good to have a decent class on a sunday, but even the trainers need their day off :
No frills gym, equipment is overall very good however some minor things missing like the foot straps on rowing machines. Excellent value for money and staff are extremely friendly I am building up to having a PT session so that's a big compliment.
Good clean facilities. . Loads of classes that are free with your membership. Seperate weights and cardio area with even a small ladies room near the back tbh the ladies room looks an after thought that has long since been forgotten. Not sure if the water machine has been fixed yet, I stopped checking after 3 week. Changing rooms are clean and always being checked by friendly cleaning staff.
Be carefull when cancelling your membership, i cancelled and they have still been charging me in the background. Sent me threatening emails through their financing company Harlands about payments i hadnt made, despite cancelling and then threatened to increase the fine on the spot when i pointed out it was cancelled. Avoid this gym like the plague, they might be cheap but they get you with hidden charges as you try to leave despite it apparently all being an automatic process. Ill never use a Harlands service ever again, utter scumbags.
