Great gym. Can't fault them on prices as I got a cracking deal for 12 months. The gym does not come with extra perks like sauna, jacuzzi or swimming. Water fountain always seems to be low on water and there is only two with one broken.
Don't join!! I joined this gym over a month a go because at first the staff seemed very friendly and helpful a month later and wow how things changed now they look at you like your crap and certainly aren't helpful. Really do wish I didn't join this gym as they really do make you feel unwelcome with some of the nasty looks I get of the staff. The equipment however is very good and I rate the equipment the best around shame the staff aren't.
My gym. local to work, good prices, good set of PT staff. Its never too busy at lunchtime when i go. The equipment is spot on and staff are always visible on the gym floor, everything's always kept clean and tidy. Great gym
Friendly and cosy gym with good selection of equipment and classes. The only issue Is at this time of year some classes are over booked and it's hard to get a spot in the evening. I'm told this is being looked at. I would recommend this gym due to its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and good facilities.
Nice size gym, been going for around a year now and it have everything you need from a gym, not too busy which is ideal. I have made suggestions a while ago in regard to having a mirror in front of the squat rack, nothing came from it. Would recommend you check the gym out, doesn't have all the sauna, steam room, pool felicities like DW but for weights and cardio it does the job !
Wonderful gym with very cheap membership costs. I would honestly go as far to say that it is possibly the greatest building I've ever been in. I'm honoured to say I've had the chance to breathe the smooth, comforting Helio Bolton air. All the best!
A great gym which has all essential requirements.... good safe parking, clean locker rooms, water freely available, loads of equipment ranging from cardio, vibrating plates to resistance machines and huge number of free weights - bar bells and dumbbells. Also good range of free classes for members, friendly staff, and a great website to log your personal gym activity if you wish. Reduced to 3 stars due to faulty water machine which Helio aren't in a hurry to repair. The one remaining water machine has such low pressure it takes ages to fill a bottle, causing queues. Also the spin classes are great, except there should be 18 bikes but one was removed as it was broken. Still take bookings for 18 yet 17 bikes. Out of the 17 remaining bikes there are about 5 which have either seats which don't lock, seats which pivot, cranks which have loose bearings, footstraps missing, handle bars which move instead of lock and several which squeak. Also the amplifier volume control is broken so music drops out randomly. So all in all, great classes due to excellent instructors namely Robin, Chrystal and Amy but somewhat lacking in equipment.
Good gym. Lots of equipment, never seen it too busy, showers are alright, not great, it's very cheap per month, higher quality than you'd expect for that price
Have been using this gym for 3 yrs now. A variety of classes. Keeping maintenance of the machines could be improved though. Better than most budget gyms.
This is a fantastic gym with fantastic equipment. Always clean, very friendly staff and great facilities. I highly recommend this gym and I love being a part of it.
