Wilson & Co Bolton were great because Raymond went above and beyond. I was rather undecided, and a few sales people gave me a bit of info before moving on. Raymond stayed with me whilst I debated every aspect of the cars I was looking at. He explained everything so clearly and gave me all the options available. Nothing was too much trouble and there was no hard sell. He seemed genuinely intent and being helpful regardless of it resulting in a sale. He was there when I needed answers and gave us space whilst we decided. Top class service even coming in on his day off to handover the keys.
We called in to see if they had any cars to replace one my daughter had had written off. The salesman was very polite and good at his job. They had one we were interested in but it wouldn't have been ready for collection until near the end of the week. I would be happy to try them again if and when I need a car.
Called in out of curiosity after a very poor service from another provider. I was put in touch with Harry from sales and from start to finish he was outstanding! Harry took onboard what I was telling him about my situation and he worked tirelessly to come up with a deal that suited my needs! I feel very reassured by the service provided my Harry and Wilson & Co. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you so much!
I saw a car of my interest on auto-trader & within a day I was in contact by Harry from the sales department. Harry was extremely helpful & made me feel welcome and valued. Within the space of a few days, I had my new car at a good rate/deal. The whole team were excellent and friendly even with my needy & whiny toddler present. Cannot fault - thanks again!
I'd definitely recommend Wilson & Co Bolton to friends and family because the treatment that I received from the salesman Nathan was very professional, he was very friendly, was not pushy in any way and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. All in all it was one of the best experiences that I have had when purchasing a car.
Wilson and co managed to slot me in at short notice, making sure I could get back on the road quickly and efficiently. Nothing was to much trouble great coffee and even an area my toddler could play whilst I waited. Thank you again!!
Another shockingly poor level of service it should have been once bitten twice shy for me but I thought I would give Wilson and co another try. So discussing the purchase of a car to the point where the deposit is just about to be sent and I ask one more question about the cam belt being due, suddenly the car is no longer available, poor service Gamze. Oh well makes a change from getting told all my tyres are nearly illegal at 2mm when they are actually on 5mm minimum I caught you out there as well didn't I...... I Would give Wilson and co a wide berth unless you enjoy extremely poor service.
Edit: true to their word, the service manager has reached out and apologised, honestly, and enticed us back with a promise of better service. We appreciate this. Has amended star rating as the aftercare given our complaint has been good so far. -original review- Have used this place over 8 years with 3 different cars. Plenty of loyalty from us in the past and other than having to complain about over enthusiastic marketing and phone calls a few years ago, have rarely had an issue. This week we booked the car in to investigate a grinding noise from the steering column. They booked us in at 9am no mention of a timeslot or courtesy car. Despite chasing all day, at 4:30 we finally had an email with a video saying they can’t even identify the noise we are referring to, save for me taking the mechanic out which was not offered or suggested but they had done a £120 diagnostics check and the brake pads needed replacing for £170. With little choice we agreed to work … to be told it was too late “the mechanics leave in 26 minutes” and we had to book in another day in the future. On complaining about this, we were told other customers were on a 2 hour timeslot and therefore were prioritised. A diagnostic ‘takes all day’. Eventually after going round in circles we had a meagre apology that perhaps the person who booked us on hadn’t made it clear a the cost of a diagnostic and b that the car wouldn’t be looked at until gone 4pm despite insisting it gets dropped in at 9:30am. We paid the £120 and left disappointed & with the same issue with the steering.
Had an appointment to fix an interior light, was shocked but elated that they had even washed and hoovered my car, the staff are amazing, always smiling, very friendly and can't do enough to help, think I've found my dealers for life, love Wilson n co Bolton..highly recommend.
If you are a mobility customer or a customer in General I would highly recommend you speak to Bernard Mort who made the whole process, swift, professional. We also felt listened to and were able with Bernard's help to find the perfect car for us. I will be using Wilson and Co in the future due to Bernards polite and professional attitude. Bernard listened to what we needed in a car and within a short space of time we found exactly what we wanted. Thank you Bernard
