Great Service from Adam at Parkside. Adam described the vehicle to me over the phone and the vehicle was exactly as described when viewed. Had a warm welcome when initially visiting them. Looked at the vehicle in my own time with no pestering salesman. Would definitely recommend Parkside direct. These guys are different to your usual car dealers. Great service!!
Disappointing. Should have been great deal for lovely car. Initially very friendly and fixed a fault with the aircon when pointed out on test drive. But when other issues became apparent after taking ownership of the car - passenger door lock issue and CD player issue - denied anything to do with them. Spent the month since buying car bouncing between Parkside and the warranty company, with both saying the other is responsible.
Worst garage ever I traveled all the way from Birmingham to Bolton to see E Class Mercedes what they said was top of the range. The day before I phoned and asked if any problems with car or any scratches and was told no by the sales man and assured me the car was in brilliant condition for year. When I got to the garage first couldn't find parking space had to park street away and then when they bought the car around to show me it looked like it had been on a dirt track and a big scratch on the rear door and underneath the bonnet a massive oil leak. I recommend to people not to go to this garage I went after doing night shift but did they give a s**t no what a waste of time
3.5 weeks ago we travelled 4 hours to buy a silver Ford Galaxy but when we turned up we realised that it was really grubby which the photos had not displayed. It definitely wasn't in saleable condition. Thankfully the journey wasn't wasted as they had another Black one that matched our criteria, had they not we would have been extremely annoyed particularly as they knew we were coming a long way. The service on the day was fine and the deal was done. The journey home was extremely warm and uncomfortable as we realised the air con didn't work so contacted Parkside and they agreed to pay for the refill. Whilst studying the service book we realised the service done just before sale had been stamped but there was no record of what had been done and no invoice. We checked with Parkside and they weren't able to tell us what had been done so for piece of mind we had it serviced by our local garage. They found a huge split/bulge in one of the tyres and were surprised the car had made it through an MOT just 950 miles ago. They told us that we were lucky not to have had a blow out and suggested changing both the damaged tyre and the other matching make of tyre, both of which were inferior makes. Considering this is a family car and we drove home with two young children in the car this left us totally unimpressed. Parkside agreed to pay for one of the tyres after firstly directing us to the warranty which clearly wasn't going to pay for tyres! We now have no air con again which suggests a leak so upon trying to get the work done under the 6 month warranty the car came with, we have not been able to find any garage willing to do the work with third party warranty involved. So it might all sound great getting a warranty with your car but effectively it's not worth the paper it's written on. We part exchanged our Mazda 6 which had been well maintained with no expense spared so driving away and having to now spend money on the Ford within the first month is pretty piss poor! I know they've made very good money on our trade in and quite as likely a good chunk on the Ford, that's fine because they are in business to make money but when you drive away with a car that has faults from the start it leaves a bitter taste. UPDATE In negotiations with Parkside over air con so we'll see what happens.
Just purchased our second car to add to the expanding business fleet and very pleased with the service thus far. The guys were very accommodating and delivered the vehicles to our offices on both occasions at a day and time of our convenience and on time!.
i bought a car with service stamps a d they didnt made the service with the results the engine to be damage and is at least 3000 pounds to be repaired . i had to different reports from other garages and both said the oils are very old. they just stamped it without to make the service. very bad experience with this garage and of course no recommended Hello! Thanks for the answer but i have 3 reports . 2 from interdependence garages and one of the finance company engineer that i made only 6.000 miles when the engine had the problem. all of the reports said the same. Oils was very old. didn't changed for a long time. i returned the car to financial company and i made claim against them. if you like i can publish the reports here. Thank you!
Professional, attentive and friendly. Went out of their way to make sure we as a family with small child were well accommodated and at ease. Most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Would highly recommend and will be looking out for further cars from them in the future.
Staff here were great but apart from that had nothing but trouble with the car at first little bits. Like boot not opening turbo valve. I serviced ect when due. Took care of it . Bang a year down the line. Breaking down limp mode ect. Now had engine rebuild. And don't come on here and say wear and tear. You are not checking us cars properly. Would never buy another. It's just costing me money all the time. Sorry I purchased this on HP from here. The car is a Vauxhall insignia ml10 bcx. Cars like this put you off, purchasing another.
