If you are going there to get any input from their employees just do not bother. I have met the most dumbest people in the store. No idea about what they sell no product knowledge. You might find better info on google than from the people working there. Just hopeless to get any information from them. May be better place to buy but not to enquire anything.
***UPDATE*** It is now 6 months since our kitchen was due to be finished and we are still dealing with dry-fitted and warped work surfaces. We have had another delivery of the surfaces in March and these were warped again. We were given another date but the installer is now off sick, so the 'end date' of our kitchen debacle with Wickes continues. It's just not worth the risk of choosing this company to do a project. And no, I won't contact you through social media as it still won't get the job done. Really disappointed. At the start of the kitchen process, we had great service, the fitters were highly competent and efficient. However, when the fitter found that the work surface was slightly warped, Wickes said they would organise for another fitter to come out to refit a new one. That was two months ago and despite saying time and time again that someone would be in touch to do this for us, nothing has happened. We've contacted customer service several times and again, lots of promises that someone would be in touch...nothing.
Cannot find what you are looking a member of staff are always on hand to point you in the right direction. Visited Wickes so many times in last few months for decorating and building materials. Staff are always very accommodating will happy to oblige you . Store is always busy Which is a good thing for business. Go on line and sign in for a 10% discount card to use on each purchase made . We have saved quite a bit of money this way . Thank you Wickes .
The staff have very little knowledge regarding their products, if you ask about the smallest thing or seak basic advice you have to book an appointment to speak to someone else who knows about it. I feel this store is mainly for the trades and not walkin individuals.
I have placed an order for £823.30. It was delivered quickly and all seemed fine, until my just under £600 of MDF was delivered wet and paint didn’t arrive. The other half of the order was meant to be received on the same day by the warehouse, which I later realised a message to say the large door handles are out of stock and then 5 days later received another message to say the other door handles are also out of stock. I’m currently stuck with half of my mfd wet, no paint no handles and apparently the feet for the units are on their way. After emailing and calling with no answers, I have been give to choice but to leave a review on here, in hope I will get a reply.
Ordered thousands of pounds worth of windows and so many parts were found to be missing. Terrible customer service, I will be taking my business to someone who treats customers well and that can send all of the product parts out. I would have given them a zero if I could.
Good priced items. Better if you have the wickes trade pro app. This will give you 10% discount on every item
I'd made a special journey to get some odd bags of slate chippings, and 2 types of shingle for topping up, only to find some there was only broken bags for each type. Hannah was really helpful and rebagged what I needed. She did all the heavy lifting, gave me a fair discount and Charlie loaded my car for me Excellent service done with a friendly 'no trouble' attitude.
Always a good selection of products here for most DIY and trade jobs not to mention Bathroom and Kitchen units, helpful staff. Certainly a must for goto when looking for tools , plumbing and electrical fittings.
After visiting to view kitchens in the store we were told to return the next day without an appointment. We returned and were asked to wait. 20 minutes later the same lady then told us we couldn’t be seen. 2 wasted trips and felt very under valued as a customer. A shame as what was on offer looked ok.
