I was very happy to be helped by Alfie in carpeting today. He was friendly, polite and had a sense of humour which is very hard to find in department store staff. Best of all he understood feet and inches!
Very well stocked shelves and nicely presented. Sadly they did not have what I was looking for today. But I did buy some beautiful curtains which I am delighted with but definitely not what I went shopping for
Very nice place that you can find all sorts of items, though finding them can be a little difficult its a big place!. The cafe is really good, nice cream tea, and other sweet treats like apple pie our favourite. Only downside is that some isles are just a bit narrow for some wheelchair users; you CAN do it, but you have to maneuver around a tight isle into another tight isle in places. However, they do have an elevator, and it always seems to work!
Good store. Had coffee as well. However it was very evident that the tables were not cleaned in the time we were there. Infact we had to obtain a bunch of serviettes to clear our one before we could put our cups down! Not good.
Went to buy wallpaper. gentleman from haberdashery was very helpful, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. He was knowledgeable about products and even went onto his iPad for more information.
