Can be very messy and disorganised, despite seasonal changeovers. Good choice of products hence the name... but we found many items to be incorrectly priced or labelled.nBargains to be had and a very comprehensive arts & craft and homeware section. You're better off shopping elsewhere than their toy section though.
Lots of products but many without prices which is frustrating. Customer service is lacking: I brought an item that was on special, but when i got to the till i was charged the full price. I went back to check the price and took a picture of the display price and then went to the return desk to get the difference refunded. The older guy on the refund desk till was miserable, came accross as grumpy and didnt even apoligise for the mistake implying that i must have looked at the wrong price tag.Ironically the young lad who initially served me was very pleasant and friendly, but the older guy on the customer service desk definately needs some customer service refresher training!!!nOn a more positive note the cafe is excellent value with friendly staff.
We decided to have lunch today, which we have no complaints about, but today while wating for our food I noticed a clean shaven young man handle the food in the cabinet with bare hands then seeing me watching he got the tongs to continue. He then walked into the kitchen and stood in the doorway licking his arm. He the came out the front, removed some food on a tray, sausage rolls I believe then filled them out of sight, only to then use paper towel to wipe his nose, not once did I see that him wash his hands. I think a bit of basic hygiene training wouldn't go a miss.
Good variety of products, especially at seasonal times such as Christmas. This is all spoilt by a lack of pricing across the shop. I have never seen so many missing price tickets!nBe prepared to queue and even if the staff are aware, there is a total lack of urgency to help customers.
Massive thanks to Ruby today at the Westwood Cross Range. Her kindness and patience was really appreciated when I was served by her at the checkout. She could see that I was getting flustered and concerned about conveying a heavy purchase to my car and she immediately offered to carry it for me. Such thoughtfulness meant a great deal to me. Thank you Ruby, you are a star
