Absolutely disgusting customer service, avoid at all costs. Today I called the Canterbury store to ask if something was in stock, I spoke to Darren who told me there was 14 in stock and he would put 2 behind customer services for me to be picked up. As I was unwell I paid someone to collect them for me. When they went to collect them Darren had not put them behind the counter and was also on lunch break. So Sharon one of the managers went to get the items from the warehouse, as a member of staff had checked they were in stock. Whilst my Friend was waiting Darren returned from lunch. When my Friend and staff asked him where the items were he said he hadn't put them behind the counter as he had told me they were not in stock which is not what he told me, in fact we laughed on the phone when I said " pick me 2 nice ones ". I don't take kindly to being called a liar, let alone paying someone to collect and wasting their time, for the journey and the 45 minutes in store for him to be told they don't have them in store ! ... It appears nobody knows what they are doing, a complete shambles ! ...I phoned the store to speak to the manager several times, to get head office number as I am going to complain to them as well. Having tried to call head office, I found Sharon a manager had given me another store number. I have since found out Sharon was not the actual store manager. I have had to leave one star to be able to leave a review if it had been possible I wouldn't have left one star. I am still waiting for my return call from the actual Store Manager but I expect to be waiting a long time. So if you fancy being called a liar and insulted and wish to waste you time I suggest you visit the Canterbury store and speak to Darren ! ... Failing that shop elsewhere
I was really disappointed today. I go to the Range in Broadstairs regularly and normally the staff are friendly and welcoming. However after today's experience of meeting the Assistant Store Manager, who was rude and aggressive. She did not listen to me when I needed help. She spoke over me, and was rude. The exchange meant I walked away without buying anything. If this person thinks it is ok to treat customers in such a rude and aggressive manner, I would hate to be one of the team members she deals with. Very disappointing.
Just had quite possibly the worst cooked chips ever. They were so hard and anemic.....and the ones that were soft were like biscuits on the inside.... Didn't think it was possible to make chips this bad.... Shocking.... The range seriously need to have a chat with their chefs....
Much more selection of items than some stores. Also liked they give you a ticket if you are wanting curtains or fabric etc to collect when you go to the tills. Saves waiting.
Never fails to please can always find what I'm after today was a microwave. Cost far less that curries. Great job
At least 95% of the products I would have like to buy did not have a price on! Plus my daughter looked online at some stuff to try to find price but half of the them the range didn't sell??? We was stood in front of the items on their shelves!! So needless to say they lost custom because I don't buy without knowing the price first!.
Very good parking. If you like the larger shops with a good variety and reasonable prices this is the place for you. There is the good the bad and hbe ugly to choose from.
Great shop and as the name of the shop says a good RANGE of items to buy. It is clean though the ladies toilets need updating especially the floor. The shop floor may not always be tidy but it is plain to see there are not enough staff but the staff they do have are grafters and are helpful. Coffee shop brings people in for sure especially since the menu has been changed. Had a good meal at a good price will be going back again.
The food is good for the price and the staff are very friendly and helpful in the cafe at broadstairs
One of the best places to shop and get a variety of items. Staff are so helpful too.
