Not quite the offers that they state, I went to B&M to purchase some meal worms for the birds, out of stock, I went next door into Poundstretcher where they had the same item advertised at double the price which they stated was their original price but in sale 50% off bringing it back to normal to any other shops. Not quite the deal they state it is. I will say though, some items on display were reasonably priced, just be aware and compare before you buy.
Great place for super cheap stuff. Do not buy their DIY tools though as you will end up harming yourself. My colleague got a box cutter from here and as he used it, the plastic shattered and had the blade stuck in his finger.
A large store with a great choice of a variety of different items. From babies, dogs and children to all the essentials that you need to buy. All at incredibly cheap prices. A very large car park that you get a ticket for and then a refund from the shop. Careful you do not stay longer than your ticket or you will be fined. Killing the business of the cafe opposite because nowhere for their customers to park now. Far too much space for the store.
Poundstretcher. Great for pet food, storage boxes and cheap batteries. Poundstretcher at Broadstairs might be haunted! Last time I was walking down isle 3, a tin of dog food flew off the shelf right in front of me. It didn't just fall off, it had some momentum behind it but there was no one else in this part of the shop. I didn't buy the tin of dog food.
Very clean, huge variety of every day items. Sometimes you can find unusual items as presets. Enjoy shopping there. Only negative is I didn't see any trolleys, hope I just missed them and they were some somewhere. ?
The staff were very helpful. We came because I am redecorating my room so that it will be easier to be organised when I turn 13 in 22 days. I have been here many times and yesterday was the funniest.
Due to other discount stores Poundstretcher is often overlooked. It is a hidden treasure but is often almost empty when I visit which is a shame. They have some lovely home decor items, for example. A great place to buy large rugs at a decent price which you can't find at other discount stores in the area.
They were selling some branded deodorants that I use at a good prive, so I stockef up! Bought several other items of toiletries that I saw at good prices too. Worth going there plus easy parking.
Needed some smaller width floating shelves and had tried all the local shops with no luck. So poundstretcher was my last hope and to my surprise they had just what i was looking for at a very good price, thank you poundstretcher will try you first next time.
It's a okay place shelves a bit untidy in my view it's like if there's a place fill it, l do prefer the Margate store as the layout is better and it's got some kind of order to it, but l don't use it now because of the cost of parking, l don't see why you should have to pay for parking when you are using the store.
