Monday 27th February 2023 I visited this good Rochester rail ale locals pub This pub had 3 good real ales on and there was a definite close knit feel to the place the real ale was good and inexpensive Good proper boozer

A very characteristic pub, all warm welcome you. Very supported by local people and range of beers superb.

This is easily one of the best pubs in Rochester and "one for those who know". I hope it doesn't change! Great community sprit, events they put on like the bake off competition last week,  always a great selection of beers, sports on if people want but it never dominates, quality juke box, lovely garden, superb staff. A real gem.

Great pub. Friendly staff/landlady. Good place for a beer after work.

After long trip to enjoy the rugby this was the perfect place to have a pits stop. Excellent pints of Hophead from Dark Star Brewery. Thanks for the short cut to the rugby club too.
