Good food with an awesome view. Awesome service and a large patio for dining. The menu was simple, a little more exciting than your regular pub food, good quality too. We'd come back for sure!
Great drinks, great food and awesome service! Loved their Moscow mule. They have locally brewed beer. Their pizzas are huge and their orchard burger was great!
My first time trying this place. Went for lunch with my friend and sat on the patio. Our server was friendly and efficient, our food was all correct and best part everything was delicious. Definitely will be going back!
We ordered from Riverside tonight. We live close by and ordered for delivery thinking the food would be fresh when we got it. Wrong. Spinach dip had a hard layer of cheese we couldn’t even dip through maybe just a downfall of ordering instead of getting it fresh. Order was supposed to come with naan bread and chips, we got no chips. $14 for jalapeño poppers and it only comes with 4? The fries with our fish and chips were so dry, hard and stale, they were inedible. My fish had raw, gummy batter. You can see some on the fries.
Beautiful spring afternoon. Liked the menu variety. Our server was very efficient and friendly. Really enjoyed it.
Amazing view, GREAT band and food was good when it got there. The renovations are really nice. The live edge bar is beautiful. But... they are terribly understaffed, like everywhere, post covid. The staff that showed up, were run off their feet, and the level of service really suffered.. 3 lbs of wings and a chicken sandwich shouldn't take 1.5 hours. When they get the staffing situation sorted out, this will be THE place to go.
Most of the pictures posted on these reviews are from the "old" Riverside tavern. It has been sold and the new owner has redone the whole building inside and out and new menu! You must check this place out now...one of the nicest, best places to eat in Chippawa or in the surrounding area for that matter! Chippawa has needed a breathe of fresh air for years and 1 week ago today the void was filled. I've been anxiously waiting to go here to eat after seeing everyone's food posts. Well, tonight was the night and I must say...besides the typical wait of a new place opening up, being lined up out the door and still getting staff and timing in order this place lived up to each and every picture and comment I've seen on facebook. Bernie congrats on the absolutely amazing job you've done with the place. It was an absolute pleasure attending the Riverside Tavern and sampling some of your menu items with a few others. I cant wait to return to try something else! Also thank you Chef Stephen<--super add to the team Berniefor kindly delivering some food to our table and also a congrats to you and your team on the amazing food choice and preparation. If you havnt been yet go with an empty belly...you will not be disappointed!
I have to start off by saying the inside of this place is really cool. Definitely good vibes. But the price of the food compared to the quality is unfortunate the burgers are dry and not worth the price. We got chicken wings and they were the smallest wings I think I’ve ever seen barley and meet on them and just super small. Pretty expensive place I guess you can say you pay for a view here. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for food but the beers cold and the service is good
Great food ordered for pick up but if you hand off blue cheese and dip looking like this you are. It doing good like do better guys.
I give it 0 stars wont let me post without at least 1 star its a horrible place for food i bought 2 burgers and fries. Burgers were overcooked I had maby 20 French fries soggy and cold like they were leftover under the heatlamp the bacon was cooked or reheated in the deep fryer bun was stale. I definitely won't be back or recommend.
