05 plate audi with a trade in price of £1950 at a local main dealer franchise, WBAC offered £1375 - £50 admin fee, then due to the uprated alloys from a newer model had a couple of small scuffs and a couple of 5cm scratches on the rear bumper the price offered was £850!!!! Unbelievable service from a company that misleads people, seriously would not recommend to anyone, my choice will be private sell, thanks for the waste of my time we buy any car 👍

It really is as easy as they make it sound! Just know that it's actually a small office at the address the sat nav takes you to. Don't know why, but I was expecting a large lot full of cars, which it isn't!

I took an old car along for an easy sale, offer on the internet said £150, ended up with an offer of £50. I assessed the car as normal condition for year......ie there is the odd car park scratch , bit of rust, stone and door chips, it is 16 years old for goodness sake, but overall for 16 years old and only 58k miles it's quite tidy. They knocked off money for stone chips, scratches even though these should be normal for such an old car. The car sales man made a drama, IMO, about inspecting the car......gently rubbing his hands over the paint to feel for dents......I mean really we are talking about no money here at all, it's all about gently letting you down. In the end I got bored and folded my documents up and walked out as I thought there is no way I'm starting off with a guide price and ending up settling for 1/3rd of that. So I scrapped the car, the scrapyard gave me more than 25% more!! Make no mistake here about my assessment this was nothing to do with the money but more to do with way the Internet site upsells your cars value and then the reality of the final offer bears no resemblance to the starting price.......reminds me of the totally unethical, IMO, pay day loan sales and advertising campaigns.
