I saw a car that I wanted to view about a month ago. I spoke with the sales rep and of course there was a lot of interest in the car and if I was to give £200 they could ensure it was available when I arrived as I was coming from Manchester. We viewed the car and it wasn't what we wanted. No problem I was told they'll refund the money. Great didn't think twice about it. Checked and the money hadn't gone back into my account so got in touch with the sales rep who said he'd tried to get in touch. Not sure how that didn't happen as they had sent me a video of the car so had my details. Anyway had to share card details to action the refund. No problem 10 days later and I'm still waiting for a refund. I've just called up now and been told that the accountant actioned yesterday!. So frustrating! Avoid paying any money as its an absolutely headache trying to get it back.
Easy booking in with experienced knowledgeable staff. Great job with real time communication including video. Offered a courtesy car. Tried to sell a product but not pushy at all when I declined. Good explanation and advice on all work completed. I feel that I could recommend Swansway without reservation.
This is an excellent dealership always had positive experiences with Swansway. The car is serviced and looked after properly, you even get a video of the Technician doing his assessment. My car was returned to me immaculately clean, highly recommend these guys DS and Citroen
Incredibly poor service, they can’t even get my name correct!! Car was 11months old and told would be in excellent condition, on collection had scratches all over it they didn’t even buff out before handing us the keys, boot was terribly scuffed, panels on the back of the rear seats which make the boot flat were the wrong way around, parcel shelf was missing, promised 1/2 tank of fuel which they didn’t put in. Had to go back twice to rectify everything. Told me it would take 2hrs to buff out all the scratches the following week so turned up at 9am as requested! with 1 feed for my newborn twins and car wasn’t ready until 3:30pm so was left to walk the 3 miles home and back again so I could feed my babies when originally they said I could have a hire car during the time the car was being seen to. Stay well clear! Terrible terrible service.
A big thank you to Mike and Liz for the time and effort they took to satisfy a customer service issue my father had with repairs on his Citroen C4. We are very happy to continue to have the car serviced here and would recommend the staff for their politeness and genuine concern to have happy customers.
Great service every time since I bought the car 8 years ago. Reception are very good and I always get the car back a lot cleaner than when i take it in. Can't be faulted.
Second time I've visited c hester Swansway really nice ladies on reception however the second time I've left not happy. The incompetence of basic procedures towards it's customers astound me. The first visit I was charged for work on my vehicle that I hadn't give the authority to be carried out and the second visit today I collected my car to find the diagnostic equipment still attached inside my car and warning lights on the dash. I have had to come home without my car and await a phone call tomorrow.
Had to make follow up calls to confirm booking. Work carried out quickly, but made to wait 1 hour for a complimentary car wash that they said would take 10 minutes.
Staff are very friendly and aim to help you in any way they can; however when I took my Citroen in for a service the technicians put the incorrect oil in the vehicle, a fact that was only noticed by me when I got home and inspected the invoice. The oil was changed for the correct grade on the same day but this could have potentially caused damage to the emissions system which requires a very specific type of engine lubricant to be used for it to function effectively. I was happy that the issue was sorted but the following day I checked under the bonnet and noticed that my brake fluid had been changed but had been dangerously over filled so had to extract the excess using a syringe. I also noticed that the Adblue fluid had not been topped up as it should have been and had to do it myself at my own personal cost. This was my first and last main dealer experience and I will continue to work on my own cars as I have done for the last 17 years after this.
Waste of time. Car was booked in for a recall ,all arranged ,1st job of the day . Told it would take 1.5 hours. Waiting with it. After about 10 mins reception lady came and told me they would have to order the part.Could have told me that over the phone and saved my time ,fuel, and pollution. The car had not moved from where I parked it.
