Great variety of well laid out books on several levels. Lifts and stairs to all floors. I usually go to Waterstones for the Coffee shop which has a really nice ambience as well as excellent coffee teas and drinks. Snacks as well. Good place to hang out and relax from consumerism. Do some paperwork or catch up with friends on the phone. Music is good. Staff are friendly and efficient and the place is clean. Plenty of parking in the multistorey. Would recommend.

The revieThis review concerns the cafe upstairs. An interesting selection of teas served in pots, let down by the fact that they do not bring it to the table. You have to stand there idle, waiting. The refreshment was enjoyed, although at £1.90 for a tea I felt this took a little of my enjoyment away. On to the toilets. And this is where I must shake my head. Obviously not regularly checked as there was soiled toilet roll strewn about the gentlemen's cubical. One would have thought that after the 'secret camera' scandal the toilets would be more routinely checked. Left underwhelmed. w purely

Decent book store with a large selection of books such as art and comic / graphic novels etc. Also has a good selection of local books on Maidstone and Kent
