Went to a expecting parent event, felt more like a battle ground for sales. Was not informative like i thought it would be. I'm a first time mum and feel disappointed with the experience. Not only was i over charged, i brought premature nappies at the event and no one thought to tell me or advise that there was no exchange or refund on nappies, instead I got told well it says it on the back of your recipt, the manager was too busy having a social conversation with a member of staff, to try and resolve my situation, she could of refunded me and marked the nappies for disposal. I work in retail so know how it all works. No exchange or refund on nappies but i just wished I was advised at the event that 1 i brought premature nappies and 2 there was no refund. Instead they were quick enough to jump on your back as soon as you looked at a prams and cots. Not had good experiences the last 2 times i have been in the store. Hope all Mothercares aren't like this one! Safe to say i will not be returning

Most items are overpriced. Service at the tills is incredibly slow. Even when there is no queue, you will still be waiting for a member of staff to serve you.

It sold the specific items I was looking for. It sold them adequately enough. It has automatic doors.

Nice clothes, toys overall too expensive, only buy in the sales. Changing room is good, could do with some air freshener though. wish they'd stop asking for my email address.
