Took out a test drive and noted a beeping sound which turned out to be a low tyre pressure warning. Returned the car to a £300 bill - dealership claims this happenned while we had the car and test drive agreement allows for a £1000 excess. Take away - stay a lot more alert than when you hire a car, and remember: there are plenty of customers in Guildford. So do not expect to be treated like a valued one.

After being a relatively long-term customer, I am saddened by Vines Mini Guildford. I had a pretty awful experience with regards to a job done on my vehicle. Refusing to pay out the full amount with regards to my 2 year warranty declared on my invoice. Taken them to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Do not hesitate to do that yourself for those I see you have left similar reviews. Recommend Barons Mini in Farnborough...

My partner needed a bigger car and have always liked Mini’s, For piece of mind, good value and after sales care we decided to go to a main dealer.
We found a beautiful Used Countryman with 57,000 mls located at Vines guilford and although we are Kent based we proceeded to go ahead with the purchase once we had test drove it. 
The sales team was great promising us a full valet and a thorough check of the car which we was really pleased about.
Moving forward we picked up the car and took it home, we then went for family drive to get to grips with the car, whilst sitting at the back admiring our new purchase, To my dismay whilst looking around at the interior above I noticed dog fur all across the top of the rear part of the roof. I was disgusted and could not understand how this could’ve been overlooked, this lead me to check the car over myself and to add insult to injury we then realised the comfort locking system also did not work. Now considering we were promised the car had been fully checked I was absolutely livid and got in touch with the sales team immediately. In there defence they rectified the situation quite swiftly. We got the car back but it still was not 100% as we could now here a constant squeaking sound coming from the rear end, this carried  on over a couple of weeks and once again I had to put it back in, and once again they rectified situation changing a few other minor parts which really should’ve been changed before handover considering we had not even had the car for month at this time. We now have a problem with the  passenger door not opening and once again I have to do a 100 mile round trip to get this sorted because Vines refuses to facilitate a pick up and drop off service due to logistics.
Tbh this whole palaver has put me off Mini’s and Main dealerships. We were fed a load of hot air topped off with a latte and a biscuit and if it wasn’t for my partner this  car would’ve have been sold by now.
