Excellent location overlooking the quay. Very popular with younger clientele. I had an ale see photo which was okay and enjoyed the atmosphere. Nicely designed with good outdoor space and three tiered. Certainly a contender for best spoons in Bristol, although not too impressive with the choice of ales
I really liked this place the service was great the food was great and great value I'm a fussy eater and I like just plain cheese burger which was no hassle for them to do that also I like J20 in a pint glass topped off with lemonade wich was also no problems. The food was quick the person who brought the food over I asked for salt and vinegar he went and got it for me and told me wear everything was if I needed anything else which was helpful. I really enjoyed my visit and it's such a great location on the harbour side. What is stopping me from giving the 5 stars on this place was how wobbly the table and chairs was although it was on the dancefloor area I'm guessing could be caused by being moved about alot also the table numbers I was on table 9 wich I thought was a 6 but apparently it's a common issue that's causes alot of confusion. Other than that I really enjoyed my visit and really hope to return again soon.
Great selection of well poured beers. Friendly and fast service, as you expect at a ‘Spoons. Stunning location on the canal with a great vibe. Two pints Cider & Guinness for under £6. Tons of meal deals and rapid table service. Huge place with cracking beer garden split into smoking & non smoking. Can’t wait to go back.
The V-Shed is a great Wetherspoons on Bristol Harbourside. Some of its third floor windows have good views. There is a bar on the ground floor and one on the top floor. Food tends to be served quickly.
Perfect place to eat if you love eating plates of air. I understand its a Saturday but the menu had more holes than a minefield gone wrong. The floor staff did an absolutely amazing job.... of ignoring us when we tried to flag them down after one of the kids knocked over their drink. If it wasn't for the two outstanding girls working behind the bar we would've called it a day very early on.
Nice food and good value drinks. It was busy as you would expect next to a harbour on a sunny day but found a table near a window straight away. Didn't have to wait long for food and service was friendly. As with most busy establishments they seemed rather understaffed but were coping well.
Visited in the evening for food. Really tasty and great value. Owen the bar supervisor was helpful and very friendly as was the waitress whose name I didn't get. People knock Wetherspoons but we didn't have any complaints and it was excellent value
Went Bristol for a day trip with few friends. Was looking for a place which can seat comfortably for lunch. It was just sitting by the riverside, the view is good. I ordered a fish and chips and that was exceptional, better than many of the fish and chips shop I would say.
The service I received whilst trying to order food was terrible, the bar person was serving someone else and there was one other person at the bar waiting before me. The bar person served this person and as other people came up to the bar starting serving them, even though I was next. I politely said to another member of staff I should have been next but the bar person continued to a serve a few other customers before me. When eventually the bar person did come to serve me, he advised that if I continued to be rude he would not serve me, all I had done is highlight to another member of staff that I appeared to being ignored, I wasn’t rude, angry in the slightest. I will not be going back to this establishment as the customer service was very bad.
Went here thus evening with work colleagues. Definitely a more upmarket Weatherspoons. The food here us lovely and you can opt for a large portion man size. Server's are lovely and professional. Nice atmosphere. Right on the river front, lovely setting.
