Lucky find after a pub crawl in Bristol earlier. Great boozer with friendly landlord and barmaid as we were looking for the Cat piss pub round the corner. Talked the afternoon away with some great locals, we will be back soon. Mick & Ali
I first visited this place after being recommended the food by a friend. Truly delicious naans and the korma was succulent and flavourful. I will be returning next week for another taste of India.
I had had a lot to drink by the time I reached the Myrtle Tree. I think it was a horse racing pub and had a French bulldog/ pug sitting behind the bar. Anyway, it was a good place to have a pint during our pub crawl. Whilst I dont remember the specifics of my visit but my memory has good vibes
This is not the place with cats. It is a place where everyone knows your name. Not your name, but each others names.
Unpretentious local bar serving cheap beer and cider. Racing channel usually showing on the telly during the day, £2 filled rolls, £3.70 Bass ale on tap. A few keg lagers, Guinness and ciders. A good range of cans and bottles incl Natch. Down to earth, excellent value, no frills.
Must be a great place because I cant remember much about being there so must of had a great time A++++
Absolutely loved the Myrtle Tree, it was the best bar I've ever been to and I had so much fun. The people there were great and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a pub. As one of the regulars described it, "It's a traditional country pub in the middle of a city"
Such a sick cat pub. As soon as you walk past outside, you can already see some cats just laying down I. A suuuuper lazy mood on the window and pub counter. The pub itself has cool unusual beers and ales. There's a vinyl player and some boardgames to play too. Our bartender was really kind and helpful.
Silly me, sorry I posted the wrong review on the wrong pub!... Too many good drinks and cool pubs one after another and and very short time to enjoy them.. , by the way, the Mirtle Tree it's such an Awsome place to drink with your friends, niece customs and friendly staff, pity I discovered it the last days of my vacation...
Very friendly atmosphere with good banter and the best Bass in Bristol. If you're hungry they do do fresh rolls, really nice. Got to try it!
