Nice atmosphere with yummy pub food! We like this place, they also have space to accommodate any large groups at the back!
Dived in here out of the rain on the way to Christmas market. Friendly bar staff have a seat we will bring it over.we had drinks and a toasty & chips just the job. Rese the barman pulling the pints and the guy that serviced us could not have been more helpful.
Visited for dinner and it was a friendly atmosphere. The service was quick and attentive. I was surprised it was dog friendly. The food was good and the prices were just right. Highly recommend!
Functional boozer, unpretentious venue, offers a food takeaway service, limited choice of drinks. Needs to try harder, offers little to worry the other local pubs.
This is a lovely little pub. We sent in there for a glass of wine while visiting the Bristol Light Festival. All the usual mainstream places were busy, but in here there was space and we got to sit in the window and watch the World go by! You can't beat some of the old pubs Really nice atmosphere too!
A great little find, a friendly welcome and our group were looked after very well. We were able to taste ales to help us decide if they were our taste. Thank you.
Popped in here after first going into another local pub which had just recently reopened having walked past the Shakespeare a fair few times after work and thinking .. yeah I'll go in here at some point and never doing it. Until finally Friday I popped in with a couple work colleagues and we got a pint each and it was really really nice. It's deceptively small looking but when you go in there is a lot of room, few tables at the front, a TV and the bar both barmen were friendly and chatty too and there is more seating at the back along with your obligatory pub toilets. I'll be going back .. that's for sure.
We love coming here for a cheeky gin after work, lovely friendly pub ,great atmosphere
popped in yesterday and met by the friendly owner, went in for a pint and new to the area he made me feel very welcome - thanks for charging my phone :-
Well ran pub, nice layout. Beers are decent and it's only a few minutes from the train station.
