Took some family friends there last evening and had a delightful meal and overall experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was calming, the food was very good and suitably priced. The service from both the owner and the other staff was first class. This is a local restaurant that we should support through these difficult times:- it will not disappoint and we would miss it if it were not here!
Wonderful restaurant, worth the trip down lanes to get to. Food, such a huge choice. Very tasty, and owner and staff, were so helpful, warming, and great service.
This was a great surprise as we had been looking for good pub meal. Liver and bacon for me beautifully cooked and joy to eat. The chicken beef Bolognese in a crepe was not such a success. For friends fans, beef or chicken Bolognese good, crepe good all together hmmm. Nevertheless all the meals looked very nicely presented and I definitely recommend the liver an bacon.
Absolutely gorgeous meal had tonight, the choice of starters and main meals was great. The staff are very attentive and professional at all times and the restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Excellent food and attentive service all with a cosy and traditional atmosphere
Not what we had hoped for. Very much like an old pub...old decor, dark, cigarette smells. Room was very basic and run down. Old tiling. Mattress with no support...very soft. Dated. Tiny shower only about 6ft from floor to ceiling and in the middle of the room. Skylight with no cover so the light woke us up about 5am. Overpriced for what it was. Breakfast was nice. In hind sight, would have preferred a chain hotel where you know what to expect and there is round the clock service- hosts were accommodating but limited service window for a hotel.
We had a lovely meal with friends at The Norfolk Lurcher. The menu gave us excellent choices and the staff were friendly and courteous. I had the sirloin steak cooked rare with all the trimmings and I can honestly say it was one of the tenderest and delicious steaks I have ever tasted.
Probably the best food we had all week. Good home cooked, locally sourced produce. Incredible menu. Wonderful, funny & friendly owners too. Go put of your way to find the Norfolk Lurcher, dont judge a book by it cover, the food speaks volumes. Will definitely be back to work through the menu.
Lovely meal, staff were very attentive and dealt with any questions regarding intolerances quickly. Very friendly lovey atmosphere and food was really good ..definitely going again
We were recommended and wasn't disappointed. They accommodated a change in dishes for my husband,. I had Liver & bacon We were able to bring our dog scruffy along and he was made most welcome by the staff and customers.. The decor is mock Tudor with a warm friendly atmosphere.. Prices were average... They also have a great offer for 1 nights accommodation & breakfast for 2 with a meal, & bottle of wine .
