Been here a few times , wasn't a fan of the chunky chips !! , but they seem to be a thing of the past , food is reasonably priced , we had , scampi and chips , fish and chips , full English and the burger and chips , all were very good , as was the service
Great beer, atmosphere and food, couldn't ask for more. At a recent visit I had one of the best ribeye steaks I have ever had, in fact it was so good I had to come back again to make sure!
My family visited me this weekend and brought the dog up so we went here for a roast as it was a fog friendly pub. The staff serving us was lovely believe their name was Laura?. So friendly, chatty and inviting. The food was lovely too and can't complain about the portion sizes.
Very efficient clean and on the ball. Was our Ruby wedding anniversary and my 70th birthday. Service excellent, food brilliant. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Bonus was entertainment on and our erra 70s,80s and 90s. Which was a bonus. Will definitely visit again.. Thank you all.
Lovely atmosphere, great food and friendly staff…. Can’t ask for much more
Very welcoming and dog friendly, I will definitely be returning
Lovely food and atmosphere, great for dogs too. So nice to meet Laura who is such a credit to the team. We look forward to returning for another delicious Sunday lunch.
Lovely meal, great beer Gamma Ray IPA and really friendly and helpful staff. Will be back.
Don’t advertise “watch the six nations here”. When you don’t have sound and then, when you fix the sound after two games, you turn it down on purpose, so no one can hear it! Poor customer service, uninterested staff. Lots of various groups of people there to watch the rugby and can’t hear it and then the staff ignore customers asking to turn it up. False advertising
Long standing pub offering good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Interior decor in the main bar is contemporary and the pub also houses a post office provision. The menu is a good size with a wide range of options and specials as well. Food was of a good quality, well cooked and presented. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Desserts were good too and prices reasonable for Norwich.
