You get what you pay for, so don't expect too much. Staff are always friendly and food is good. Can be noisy at times.

This Travelodge was minging. It was super grotty and just seemed tired. The staff where all really lovely and helpful though. The other guests where loud at night. I was woken every night by people having parties. There was hair and blood squished into my shower curtain.

The one star I’m giving this is for the helpful staff. The hotel itself is a dump. Forget a decent nights sleep if you’re not laden in alcohol. The front has double glazing made from sellophane. You can hear EVERYTHING from the street. I was moved to the back where the air con units outside do a very passable impression of a distant ‘90s rave. The soap is nailed to the wall. There’s no Phone if you need do ring down to reception. The doors don’t lock from the inside. How this place is rated 3 stars is beyond me. It was clean and is probably ok if you’re going to stumble in at 4am completely w*nkered. But at £124 it was a HUGE RIP OFF. DO NOT STAY HERE

Charging extra for WiFi on top of the room price is just sleazy. Charging extra to check in at a reasonable time is just as sleazy. Stay away. Go to Ibis instead.

Friendly staff, good location, cosy quiet room. ‘Fresh’ towels were rather dirty during one of the visits - big turnoff.
