From the moment we arrived at reception, the service was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and kid-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable. The hotel is right in the city centre, so I didn’t need to worry about booking Ubers or taking the bus for sightseeing. I was able to explore everything I wanted just by going on long walks.nThere’s also a beautifully lit and spacious restaurant on site, although I didn’t get a chance to try the food. Check-in is at 3pm, but if you arrive earlier, they can safely store your luggage while you head out. We actually managed to check in shortly after 2pm. If you’d like to check in before 2pm, there’s an additional £15 fee.nOverall, my family and I had a really lovely stay.
Paul you're our heronnOn behalf of my friend, I would like to commend the hotel for its exemplary service following her recent stay, during which she unfortunately left behind a makeup bag. Upon contacting the hotel, she was assisted by Paul, whose professionalism and efficiency were truly impressive. He handled the matter with great care and confidence, ensuring the bag was safely located and returned without any inconvenience. His calm, capable manner reflected extremely well on the hotel and reinforced the high standards it clearly upholds. I am very appreciative of the outstanding service provided and would not hesitate to recommend this establishment.
On our email it said we would get discounted parking at a nearby carpark. When we arrived we were told this is no longer the case and there's nothing the receptionist could do. This is very frustrating as this is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Wouldn't of even minded if we could've been given some options of who to contact about this. Nothing just 'unfortunately the manager said we don't longer do this'. One lift was out of order. As for the room we had, it was a decent size however there was a very strange smell that hit you like a tonne of bricks as soon as you walked through the door. Bed was comfy enough and looked pretty clean but the smell just put us off. There was also what sounded like a band playing downstairs however it sounded like it was coming from the next room. Location was good. Wouldn't return due to our bad experience with room and parking but the price was pretty good. Paid around £60 for a Friday night in the centre of leeds and you may have a better experience.
4th floor room at the rear of the building on a Wednesday and I can hear a pin-drop. I had expected noise from the reviews I’ve read but not in this occasion. Room clean, bed comfy great night’s sleep. The man and woman on reception were lovely, friendly and efficient. £75 was good value compared to other Leeds hotels when I booked.nnWould stay again.
Beware, if you booked before 10 November 2025 , the website advertised £9.50 discount parking , this is no longer done, we only found out when we checked out today having booked on 10th Nov , no offer of a refund. Have written a complaint to Travelodge, I received zero e mails to tell me about the change ....when 24 hours is £24...it's not great...we would have got the train had we know.nThe room was clean/quiet.nWe paid to upgrade.nHairdryer available to borrow from reception.nGreat brekky buffet and lovely staff working in the restaurant and housekeeping.
