I've stayed in the DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds City Centre many times and as an electric wheelchair user I could not recommend this hotel more highly. Well located literally minutes from Leeds Train station, using the cut through the station you are 1-2 minutes from the Hotel. And only about 10 - 15 minutes from the city centre. The staff are fantastically friendly and supportive, and had help bringing my bags to and from my room. The wheelchair accessible rooms are very spacious which is particularly important for someone in an electric wheelchair. The wet room is also really roomy and has a fantastic shower with a fold down shower seat. Breakfast is one of the best selection I have seen and plenty of variety. Would recommend this hotel for a business or leisure getaway.
Stayed here for 3 nights for a short city break and really enjoyed it.nWe paid for an upgrade and had a good view over the canal area.nThe room was well equipped and super comfortable.nIf we had one very small issue, it was with the lifts, and occasionally, a large queue would form/you'd have to wait for a long time for a lift that wasn't already full.nAte in the restaurant for dinner, friendly and welcoming staff, and enjoyable food.nThe breakfast is buffet style and there is a great range of products to choose from, and you can also order from the menu.nI would definitely stay here again.
Another fabulous stay at the Double Tree in Leeds. Perfect location next to the Train station and for walking out into the town. Stunning roof top bar, breakfast buffet superb and room fantastic and last but not least the hotel team are all amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.
I have been repeatedly staying for one or two nights a month for work. Firstly the breakfast is an incredible option's for all dietary requirements, including gluten-free. Freshly laid out healthy and delicious.nThe room sizes are generous with plenty of space to work or work out.nFree bottled water in the fridge coffee no tea facilities.nThe gym is also fair for a hotel gym with some free weights and machines. Please lower your expectations, and then you'll be pleasantly surprised.nThe location is central and right on the canal, so it is primed for a morning walk or run.
We stayed at the hotel on a Saturday night. Arriving at 3pm we checked in and parked at the hotel parking which was £21.95 for the overnight stay! A tad expensive however very safe and well organised. The hotel room was clean and tidy had everything we could've needed from an iron and board, a hairdryer and complimentary water in the fridge! We did have an issue with the TV which was not 'tuned in' we called reception and a gentleman came within 5 minutes and sorted the issue for us!! The bed was comfy the pillows soft, the covers were clean and fresh. The complimentary shower gels and bathroom washes smelled lovely and the shower ran hot and was powerful. The only negative thing to add here is that there was no decent lighting for doing hair and makeup!! We didn't hear the trains and we faced the tracks!nAll in all, a great stay and we would stay again, many thanks
