Good budget hotel if you just need to sleep and be within walking distance to town. Comfy beds and everything in the room works, just the shower is very exposed so need to be comfortable with who you're sharing with! Staff were nice but overworked when booking inRooms: 2/5
Firstly a 15 minute walk from the closest car park! Whilst I appreciate this is a budget hotel they were charging full service hotel prices at £120 per night nothing budget about that. It’s ok, clean corridors, separate toilet, weird shower that opens into the main room that had a double bed and bunk above it, zero privacy if there was 3 of you in there!! Shower was not very hot in the morning although a good pressure. Just had a paper cup in the room, not a coffee stick in sight or a cheap biscuit. I would say if you want to charge the prices that you are then ensure your offering is similar to the local market! One thing I hated however I must add is the clock on the TV, it’s like a BEACON of light during the night, it woke me at 3.30am and I was awake though till 7am when I got up! I wouldn’t rush back and certainly not for £120 per night room only!
Stayed here for one night while attending a gig at the O2 Academy which was just under a mile away. Cracking views of the city skyline from our room and found a public car park just over the way. Room was clean and quiet with everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was an all you can eat buffet which was just the job.Rooms: 5/5
Nice little budget hotel close to the centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. No tea/coffee making equipment in the rooms but reasonably priced drinks available at reception. We had some noisy 'neighbours' but nothing too problematic. Overall, worth the price and the room was very pleasant and clean.Rooms: 5/5
For a budget hotel, it was very comfortable and very clean. The staff made it five stars!!! The morning continental breakfast was much more than I expected. And they have Nutella dispenser! I had planned on a month but stayed a bit longer and was quite comfortable. As a "tourist", the location was perfect. I'll be back.Rooms: 5/5
I was only staying for one night on my own. The price was very reasonable, a short walk from Leeds train station. Room was small but perfectly clean, functional and comfy bed, which is pretty much all I needed. I didn't need a fancy restaurant or breakfast, no tea and coffee in the room but was available at reception. Great for a cheap stay over if you need a good bed in a central location.
The room was very clean & functional. Towels were changed every day. Though I always make my own bed, the bed linen was tidied better than I had made it. Great location within walking distance of Leeds and transport links. I enjoyed my 4 night stay here. Thank you to all the staff. Rooms: Functional. Take your own kettle. Walkability: Close to Leeds City & transport links. Noteworthy details: Front facing rooms have a great view of the city skyline.
So convenient for the bus station, it's only really over the road, big plus. All the staff I spoke to were friendly, polite and helpful. Room was fine for me, I was only stopping for one night after O2 Academy gig. Separate loo, separate shower, full length mirror, TV, clothes hangers, toiletries provided, towels provided, stool to sit on, plenty of assorted lighting arrangements, was clean, comfy, quiet. Being on 7th floor, the room proffered great views over Leeds. It's on a busy road network and close to the railway line, but window soundproofing is excellent and there was no roar from vehicles at all. My only two minor points were the loo door had to be pushed quite hard to close and it made a big thumping bang every time. OK for me but hoped it didn't wake folk. And no drink making facilities in room. I never use the telly in hotels, so a kettle over telly every time. That said, you can help yourself to free hot drinks downstairs which is worth knowing. Oh, and there's a third thing: those stupid room card key effort thaaangs - mine didn't work, went on strike - Apparently this happens a lot and other guests suffered similarly. Apparently, the key's resistance to working can be affected by proximity to mobile phones, but my key was in my bag and mobi in hand. It's not really that much of an issue, as the two chaps down on reception were lovely - caring, obliging and they just reset my card for me, saying they'd check on the security camera, so that I wouldn't need to keep ping ponging up and down in the lift to them to sort. Yeah, comfy stay, reasonably priced. Happy customer. Big thank you to all the lovely staff, hope your boss reads this! Would stay here again.
You maybe wandering why I have given 5 stars . But if you are looking for somewhere in the city centre that is clean, reasonably priced and you are modest with your expectations. This makes a great hotel. The morning breakfast is definitely not a continental, and to be honest leaving it off when you book the room maybe a good option. Plenty of places to eat, as you are in the city centre. As I said, very clean, nice city views if you like that sort of thing. And we all enjoyed our sleep.
Hotel is clean and rooms were spacious enough we stayed in a triple. They provided a travel cot for us which was great. There is no kettle in room so we took our own travel one but free tea and coffee is available from restaurant anytime. We paid for breakfast in advance and hadn’t realised there wasn’t any cooked breakfast but to be honest for the price it was great - tea, coffee, juice, toast, pastries, meat and cheese, cereal, fruit and yoghurt. Lots of options including milk alternatives like coconut milk which was a nice touch. Everything was fresh and delicious. Room is situated in a fab location for the price and only a short walking distance to the city center and the parking they use a local multi story. It also had lovely views from our room. Staff were very friendly and helpful so couldn’t ask for anything more from them. Ultimately I feel it’s a fab budget option but maybe wouldn’t stay with a young child as it’s popular with groups of people staying there for a night out understandable given the price and close proximity to the city so we had a lot of noise in early hours with people coming back in and talking in corridors and etc. luckily our baby sleeps through that but it would probably wake most people. If I was staying child free it wouldn’t be an issue.
