You always know where you are when staying in a Travelodge - the rooms are all much the same, but that's not a complaint when it means they're extremely clean, with crispy linen and bathtowels. I had a good view of the sea, with no discernible traffic noise. No bathrobe, but a hairdryer was available when asked for at reception. There's a Costa on site, a huge Asda just the other side of the car park, and I think a sandwich bar (Sub Way, I believe). Everything was great, but something that stood out particularly for me was the way each of the three staff at reception came round to greet our dogs. (Dogs are permitted in Travelodge rooms at an extra charge). My gosh, it was like they were greeting a long lost relative!! Chews were given and the dogs made a huge fuss of. It was as if they really, genuinely were pleased to have the dogs as guests! Thank you so for making us feel so welcome, we'd definitely stay with you again when in the area!

Firstly let's not forget this is budget accommodation. OK the rooms are on the small side, bathrooms too. But it's clean, everything works as it should, bed is comfortable, it's in a superb location for the town centre with lots if shops etc. close by & is just short walk across the road from the train station. The staff were friendly & very accommodating. Well done Travelodge.

I stayed three nights because this Travelodge offers dinner and breakfast. On Sunday night I gave up waiting for my dinner after one and a half hours and acepted a refund....... In other respects this is a nice modern Travelodge with a good breakfast, but best to give the dinner a miss!

Clean and tidy room and comfy bed, lovely hot shower and very friendly staff. I thought it was very good value for money.

Worst Travelodge yet. Un helpful staff. Grim family room. Had to explain what the clump of hairs were on the bathroom floor to my 7 year old. Stay at the Bournemouth seafront in this area, it is so much better.
