I had an excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express Poole. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, with a fresh and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The room was modern, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.nnBreakfast was a real highlight, plenty of choice, high quality, and very well presented. It set me up perfectly for the day. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive, which really made the experience even better.nnHoliday Inn never disappoints, and Poole is no exception. It’s my first choice every time because I know the standard will always be reliable, consistent, and enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
You don’t book a chain hotel for charm, but this one was perfectly functional. We had a reasonable sized room, though it was intermittently quite noisy from motorbikes and trucks on the nearby elevated road, but this didn’t stop us from sleeping well in the comfortable bed.nnA lot of bright light from the corridor came under the door, and I used a sleep mask.nnThe room lighting was quite good except for a gloomy area over the little work desk.nnThere was a sofa on my side of the bed; my partner had to be satisfied with a little pouffe.nnThere was some hanging space but no drawer space. The TV had many free channels but only BBC and ITV that we would consider watching.nnThe shower was good once you got the settings right, the bathroom was functional and the towels were good.nnThe self-service breakfast, in a clean, bright area, was pretty good for this type of hotel. There was plain and fruit yogurt and fruit compote, fresh fruit, standard branded cereals plus a decent granola. There was fresh coffee in an urn and supposedly fresh decaff, but I never found it. There was white or seeded bread to make toast, and a range of jams, marmalade and spreads. A very sticky and messy Marmite jar wasn’t great. There were croissants and some other pastries. I liked the ‘to go’ bags with an invitation to take fruit and pastries away. Much nicer than sneaking them into a personal bag!nnYou have to pay for overnight parking but there was plenty of it, with disabled parking close to the main door. Wi-Fi worked reasonably but had to be reconnected occasionally.
Super clean, lovely staff, power showers, comfy bed, breakfast was amazing, lots of choice! We rate this hotel A+++. Will definitely choose holiday inns from now on where ever we go. Keep up the good work to all the lovely staff from 22nd to 24th October.
We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express Poole. Our room was comfortable and had everything you need iron/board, hairdryer, shower gel, hand-wash, nice towels, comfortable bed and choice of pillows a/c or the window opened. The free breakfast was amazing fresh fruit, yogurt croissant eggs bacon sausage beans and very nice toast quality bread! But it was the lovely friendly staff that made the stay perfect! From the Reception team especially Ishenka to the restaurant and bar staff to the cleaners. We can't thank you enough for making our short stay so memorable Thank you Vivienne & Steve D
Booked the night before ferrying to Guernsey. Plenty of car parking; very helpful staff. Room good for me, as ground floor. Food is what most people need but I had to ask for my porridge to be heated in the microwave as no hot milk!
