Had a lovely time at the Haven Hotel. Meal on the first night was lovely, breakfast plentiful and staff all great. Bar a good place to sit after a day out in all weathers!! The spa area was disappointing though, the outside pool our friends recommended (even in January they said) was shut as apparently not heated any more in winter. The indoor pool was on the cool side too, especially as small so can't swim much. Hot tub outside was great once we got in (three women were in it for an age!!), sauna and steam room good too. Views from hotel fab. Our room was spacious, separate adjoining room for our daughter. Bit dated but clean and comfortable bed. A bit too hot. Sound insulation could be better. Checkout OK but a few errors on the bill so keep your receipts!! No real apology that outdoor pool shut.

The hotel has a great view of Sandbanks but feels quite out of the way. It's a long walk to get to even a small local shop. The hotel is quite grubby and could do with a spruce up. Thin walls meant I could hear my neighbours tv all night and i was shocked at the small size of room and single bed!! Staff are all very helpful and attentive. The gym and spa are Great but id have loved it to be open earlier in the morning. Overall the views and leisure facilities, as well as the friendliness of the staff make this hotel worth the stay, but there is big room for improvement!

Visited the Haven in January for a belated work Christmas party, we had a meal and stayed the night, the food was perfect and dinner service never lacking, the best meal I've had at a hotel for a long time. The room was up to date and clean but the bed we soon discovered to be 2 single mattresses under 1 fitted sheet. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and again serving staff were very good. Reception friendly but by no means fast.

5 stars for the views alone. But the staff are also lovely and drinks good. Never eaten or stayed here though so can't comment on that

Hotel is a bit dated in places. Booking in was slow. Dinner - 3 course was excellent. Lovely view of the coast from bar area. Good sitting area outside. Watch out on your bill. Charged to room and had extra money on there which was unaccounted for which was luckily spotted.
