I’ve had a face to face meetings with Dr Sodha most recently, prior to that Dr. Quantum, and prior to that Dr Mei King. This was for unexplained fainting/dizziness. I absolutely cannot thank them enough for their attention and care. They have been prompt and compassionate and they’ve really tried to drill right down to see what may be causing this so that I can resume normal activities. I feel very lucky to be a patient at this practice as even the reception staff are courteous and helpful. We should be proud of having these skilled and caring staff in our local area.
The worst experience, they confirmed my appointment one day before on the phone and when I went there, they told me I don’t have you on the system giving me excuses that Is not their fault…. Like I took my day off from my work because of this appointment and they didn’t even try te reschedule or do something to fix this issue. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
I've been here for a number of years, and have had a very good experience at the Speedwell Practice. . Considering the demands on the NHS at the moment, I have found it surprisingly easy and quick to get appointments. Even minor issues have been taken seriously and resolved. I was even able to get a travel vaccine here very speedily with 2 kind nurses. The staff have been very helpful and understanding. Thank you for the excellent and essential service you are providing!
The, GP,s are disinterested in patient issue and need constant chasing. Receptionist are equally unhelpful and completely detached. If you are unwell it’s not the place you want to be registered.
Discriminatory booking procedure! The booking system is the worst I've ever seen. They only allow bookings in the morning. The staff are great, particularly great GPs, but what use is it having great staff that I can't interact with because I can't book an appointment becauss I'm busy working in the mornings! Stupidity! How this is even legal for a GP I don't know.
A big thank you to Yolanda at reception for patiently listening to my request for a change in my prescrip tion. Wonderful service from her as usual.
Normally an OK practice, called this morning to reschedule an appointment or ask for a different time, and while I was still talking on the phone, politely I might add, the receptionist hung up on me for no reason with an attitude. I know its a Monday morning and lot's of calls are coming in, but my request was reasonable and I was being nice. She didn't even say bye, just put the phone down while I was considering and asking something. I have no idea if she will convey my message to the clinician. Terrible receptionist, management should have a word with the staff on not hanging up and listening to patients. Don't waste our time. Most of us pay taxes to receive healthcare, to be insulted like that is demoralising when you are already down.
The most unbelievable service, care and empathy from a great Doctor. Dr Souda is without doubt a great diagnostician. Highly recommended this practice. Thanks Andrew Sobell
This is actually the worst GP you can go to and I’ve never in my life left a review online for anything. They called me for an appointment and I went and was left to wait for 45 minutes and when asked how long no one could help. How can you leave a sick person with temperature waiting for 45 minutes. They allow a 10 minute window for each patient when giving appointments which is completely unrealistic! I get there can be delays but these kinds of delays are out of order. People come to the GP to get help not feel worse by the time they have left. Disgusted honestly.
I cannot believe the state of the NHS now. I am ill and it is virtually impossible to get an appointment or speak to someone at Speedwell. How is this in any way a viable GP service?
