I'm a very new patient so I will update the rating as time goes on, but I saw the other reviews showed bad service, yet I had a great experience, so I wanted to share The sign-up process as a new patient was easy, the staff on email and in person have been really helpful and gave me all of the information needed. The online service seems great too - this is something my previous doctors didn't have. The practice itself is clean, airy, and hasn't been too busy when I've walked past a few times.
I don’t often leave feedback but when I saw the practice only has an average of 3.1, I felt I needed to share my experience as that score seems an unfair reflection of their skills and hard work. I’ve been with this practice for two years now and have no complaints whatsoever. The medical staff are very knowledgeable. And their econsults are so efficient. I’m always called back either the same day or the next day at the latest, depending on when I submitted it. Issues that can be solved over the phone are done over the phone. But they don’t hesitate to invite you to come to the practice should it be necessary to see someone in person. And if that’s the case, appointments are usually available at short notice. Well done to all staff who have been and still are working through the extensive building works, day in day out. Thank you!
I have been with the village practice for a number of years and I can truly say that I have am so grateful and happy with the service. I have been supported and cared for which I deeply appreciate. Throughout my time as a patient I have found all staff to be exemplary, from the doctors whom have time for me in an appointment, the practise manager whom dealt with an issue sensitively, nurses whom have been warm and caring and the receptionists whom I have always found to be friendly and welcoming. I have complex needs and have found all of the Village Practise stuff to act warmly and proffesionally when dealing with me and difficult patients. They have gotten me through some really tough times as well been a beacon of hope and support throughout the pandemic. I am so proud to have them as my GP surgery so much as such that I want show my absolute appreciation for all staff whom have shown me how a surgery can be supportive and welcoming. The competent and warm service that the GPs, nurses and all other staff that I have encountered have given me is very special and has lifted me when I have been rock bottom. With the new look of the premises the surgery has become even more welcoming and inviting. It is also accessible. I feel totally inclusive in this space as a disabled person. Thank you to all of you at the village practice.
This practice USED to be good but since the Covid-19 pandemic the quality of care and standards have dropped alarmingly in my experience. The front of house staff are surly, unhelpful and incompetent. It seems impossible to actually get a face to face appointment and when I have agreed to phone consultations I've found they either don't call at all or not at the agreed time. I was diagnosed with diabetes in Sep 2021 and since the initial diagnosis and consultation at the practice I have not had any support with managing it, tests have not been arranged and I have been left to manage it all by myself. Also since Jan 2022 my regular prescription of tablets to manage my diabetes has been consistently not processed or processed incorrectly despite my protestations. I have now decided to leave the practice as a patient and I really couldn't advise anyone to register here.
I want to review for my aunt.She just saw a doctor today. She really appreciated because doctors here is very nice. She doesn't know how to speak Englishand the doctors here go to find people to translate.A lot of things makes my aunt very heart-warming.

Absolutely awesome practice, they have been a godsend. The doctors actually care, the support staff, reception team go above and beyond when you have urgent special needs. First class practice I will never ever ever leave them. You are treated as a person and the level of support they provide as an entire team is beyond comforting. They have really come a long way and still continue to improve. When I became a medical Cannabis Patient they were so understanding and continued to support me with my condition throughout. With my conditions, having such a high standard of medical support has a huge impact on my wellbeing and independence on a daily basis, because I know they are there and will act fast. Highly recommended especially if you have a long term medical condition. Sending my gratitude and warmest regards to the entire team.
Have been with this practice for over a year since my son was born. I have had issue after issue after issue, always with different excuses as to what's gone wrong at pretty much every interaction I've had with reception. Currently on Day 3 of trying to speak with the GP about arranging Blood tests for my 14 month old, which have been urgently request by our dietitian and despite being told on multiple occasions I'm on the "list" to speak to the GP, have still yet to speak to them. There have been multiple issues previously with prescriptions for my son's formula for his milk allergy, one time resulting in being left with no formula at all, even though I had followed all of their processes for the prescription to be repeated. In fact I think at every point during him being on prescription formula there was an issue each time. The process for getting to speak to a GP for a child under 5 in the first place is utterly ridiculous, you have to call at 8 and then be put on the daily "list" to receive a call "at some point" during the day, which if you miss, you're then left in limbo waiting for the call again. When you have a sick child, being sat by your phone/able to answer the phone at the drop of a hat just isn't practical. I would really avoid like the plague and as soon as we get these blood tests sorted we'll be changing surgeries. Honestly the worst surgery I've ever come across.
I don’t even know where to start with this practise, there are so many things so wrong with it. The biggest issue I find is main reception. Every time I call them about my results whether it’s a blood tests or other tests it’s a nightmare getting any results back. When trying to call in, you are sent to a voicemail where nobody will get back to you. Occasionally they just hang up on you, and when they DO answer the phone it’s absolute rubbish. Last month someone from main receptionist told me my blood test results were all fine and that a doctor reviewed it and nothing further needed to be done…. The very next day I receive a call from my doctor telling me my blood test were in fact not okay at all and needed to be dealt with, and that whatever I was told by main reception was incorrect as a doctor hadn’t even looked at the results yet…. Now I’m still waiting for few results including a ultra sound scan and again I’m told something else every time I call them. I am so sick and done with this GP practise it’s an absolute joke.
very unreliable - the GP/ staff regularly forget to follow up on results or appointments. I had multiple cases where things that will be done e.g. referrals or follow up on results have just simply been "forgotten" by the GP/respective staff. This practice seems overwhelmed I can't think of any reason why I would recommend this practice.
