Rooms were lovely, no noise from outside, great views over piccadilly and Leicester Square, perfect location, 3 minute walk to China Town!. Staff were really good very helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good everywhere was very clean and air con worked!! It was my birthday on one of our nights and Medina sourced me a piece of cake and wrote happy birthday in fruit sauce, I was very touched!! Couldn't fault this hotel for a weekend break sightseeing!!
Just had a night here whilst meets friends for drinks, managed to get a junior suite cheaper than a standard double. As suites go it’s definitely more on the junior side!! But have to say the location is great, bed was fine A/C worked, water pressure was ok and the staff attentive. I did hear other guests complaining that their room hadn’t been cleaned but staying one night I’m not sure if I’d have had the same problem. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on it.
Stayed for a night in the Junior Suit for my wife's 40th. Location is brilliant and the room was comfortable, nice treats In the room and the breakfast was very tasty. Only issue we had, was we were told no room service available but we were provided with a app to order a takeaway with discount. The app and the portal advertised delivery within 30 mins, and all hotel branded. Food didn't arrive for an hour an a half after ordering, at which point we had to leave for the Theatre. As I understand it, although all Thistle branded they take no accountability for the restaurants on the app. This was the only negative. Would stay again but not order from their app. Overall great hotel, but just be wary of the restaurants on their app.

Supremely located within a stone's throw of Leicester Sq/Piccadilly. Unfortunately prices are a bit on the high side and rooms could use some refurbishing. Service staff were mostly pleasant, overall rather enjoyed my month long stay here.
Right in the heart of the west end but still manages to keep their rooms quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and functional with a comfortable bedRooms: 5/5
bed was made and the towels were changed daily. details and fines or missing. there is terrible water pressur in the shower, in the shower ther is mold in the corners. shower door didn’t close completely = water leaked on too the floor. dust on multiple surfaces dirty dishes left there for 3 days. room floor is not vacuumed daily visible crumbs are there location is convenient with in good walking distance to many locations. easy to get to from the airport with the underground.
Had a great stay here. Lovely staff shout-out to Khadijah, excellent room and king size bed, unbeatable location and incredible soundproofing - our window overlooked Leicester Square, and was completely silent at all times.Rooms: 5/5
In no way can this be called a 4star hotel…. As others have said the photos on here do not represent the hotel itself… it is old and tired. My room on the first floor was tiny, the thing you slot your card into to keep the lights on fell off. The view was a fire escape. The breakfast room was like something out of a village hall. The breakfast was supposed to start at 7am that’s late in my opinion but I guess it’s standard for a 4 star hotel… staff were still turning up at 0702. When I got in there was no milk alternatives and the plates were nowhere near the hot food… I only stayed for one night but if you had booked here for a vacation you would be disappointed. Oh and the gym was closed…
Stayed here while on business in London last week. Room was neat and tidy and hotel is in a great central location.Rooms: 5/5
