Gorgeous designs and interior at this hotel, but some essential basics missing, such as no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and no charge point next to my husband’s bed. Weird to overlook the basics! We loved the rooftop though
Have been to the Ham yard many times, always really enjoyed it, always thought of this place as a luxury hotel. Went at the weekend for a drink with friends after dinner. There were a lot of things that were not right, that I would not normally mind to much but when you are paying for a luxury service it should be part of it. Firstly we ordered champagne, this was left in a bucket of water at the table from a previous sitting. No ice in there just the old water. Not major but okay. One of the glasses was cracked, again not major but nobody checked. We ordered some cocktails after this, we had a really awkward exchange with the waiter. Who got their manager. Not really necessary but fine. The manager was then very rude, really disengaged and didn’t want to help. I understood that he didn’t really need to be called over however this was on the staff rather than us. Once we had sorted the situation with the manager, he returned with a drink and threw it down. Again I wouldn’t mind but when you have paid £20+ per drink, you’d hope for a bit of respect. Although not major things, I think the service really let down what should be a memorable experience every time you go to a place like this.
Absolutely perfect experience every time I have a meeting here. The tea is fabulous, nicely served and surprisingly for it's location and swishness really good value for money. Keep it up guys!Service: 5/5
Amazing hotel. I did not stay but go regularly for food and drinks. I highly recommend it. Their menu is perfect and the atmosphere is fantastic. Perfect for a date. And also great for afternoon tea.Service: 5/5
This is my favorite hotel in the world! The rooms are beautifully appointed and the staff is always inviting and helpful. The doorman is one of my favorites. He is always happy to greet you back and send you off making sure you have everything you may need - including an umbrella. I most recently was there with my 4 month old grandson and the hotel provided us with everything we needed and more. The restaurant is a hidden gem and has some of the best food I have eaten in London. The breakfast is off the charts! Can’t wait to get back there in January! I have also stayed at their sister property the Whitby in NYC and it is very bit as beautiful and that staff is great too! Rooms: Gorgeous and fun - bathrooms is great and spacious. I stayed in a deluxe room! Safety: Hotel is tucked away and we always felt safe Walkability: It’s in soho and near Piccadilly tube station. We walked everywhere!! Food & drinks: The scones are scrumptious and the salad with the raw is yummy!
Beautiful decor, though not all to my taste. People serving are kind and efficient, hard working staff, 10/10. Found the orangery a delightful space for a tea, though not the best I've had it very much felt like a treat. Trendy, popular, value for money. Nearby activities: Everything you need for a West End treat, theatre, cinema, music venues, comedy, art galleries, sightseeing etc. Walkability: It's Central West End. Everywhere is walkable. Taxi or tube, if you have access needs. Food & drinks: Literally a restaurant from every area of the world within walking distance. The hotel itself provides snacks to fine dining.
Shay served us and was excellent . Responsive, cheerful, friendly and an eye for detail . The food was fine but not special. Very disappointing as labelled as sunday lunch with jazz . In the restaurant you could hardly hear them. You couldn’t see them either from most areas of the restaurant so not sure if 2 or 3 of them. Billed as 1pm to 4pm. They were either very quiet or took a long break after an hour or so. Won’t be returning for a sunday lunch but hopefully Shay will be there in the evening .
The Ham Yard Hotel bar's terrace offers exquisite service and a stylish atmosphere. We enjoyed the best Black Margaritas in London, making it a memorable visit. Highly recommend for a top-notch cocktail experience!Service: 5/5
Had afternoon tea today and Lottie hopefully spelling this correctly was fantastic. She is an absolute asset to the hotel and I would come back just because of her, her service and professionalism. Thank you for making our day.Rooms: 3/5
I come regularly to this venue and, even if everyone is always naturally nice, I have never had the urge to write a review but today I want to highlight Luca’s service and personality. He is top class and deserves to be mentioned. Thank you so much for being you. Shout out to Martin as well, you are a big reason of why I feel so comfortable here.
